Each LP will come with a 12"x12" insert featuring old pictures and liner notes by Black Christ and Meyhna'ch. Each insert will also feature a part of a long interview with Vlad Drakul.
The split will also feature a part of an interview with Lenrauth.

All masters come from the best source possible and have gone through the hand of a professional sound engineer to make them sound as crushing as possible.

The I'a aem'nh s'ha-t'n demo will includes the track Triumphal Symphony which was omitted from the Ordo Decimus Peccatum / WTC comp that was released a few years ago.

The track Kein Entkommen will also be available without a bug appearing on this compilation.

Finally, the Tzaphkial demo will sound a thousand times better than the crap released by Impure Wedding on tape a few months ago as this source is the original demo tape of Black Christ.
I'm pretty sure only a few people here have heard this demo as it was intended to sound.

In Greece, a funeral is especially profound.
As the burial shroud is slowly raised over the face of the deceased it is common for despair amongst the mourners to reach fever pitch; the wailing, the panic, the tearing of hair and gnashing of teeth as loved ones throw themselves at the coffin in uncontrollable and unbearable hysteria… for they know that this is the last time on this earth that they will see the face of their partner… their precious, adored, beautiful child.
This moment… this anguish… this abject, primal agony… THIS is the driving force behind CURSED RELICS, the second full-length album of necromantic lunacy from the mind-shattering Μνήμα.
More deranged, more noisy, yet more melodic than ever, it is the culmination of all the pain that has come before and all the tragedy that is yet to be.

Founded in 2003 by Athros (Forteresse/Ur Falc’h) and Nordet (Ur Falc’h), Brume d’Automne are considered as one of the forerunners of the “Métal Noir Québécois” movement.
Blending raw Black Metal with Québec’s traditional/folkloric music Brume d’Automne opened up Québec’s Black Metal scene and helped shaped it as it stands today.

Originally released on cd in 2012 Brume d'Automne's self titled album will finally be available on vinyl with for the first time and specifically mastered for the format.

Previously released on tape and quicly sold out the split between two of underground's best acts is now available on vinyl.

This split brings out the most bristliest side of Trhä’s buoyant melodicism, rasping his cosmic effervescence with charred effluence of noxious solar fumes and virulent vibrations, before Μνήμα himself casts his filthy staticky rancour across his half of the split, dragging any remnant of astral levity into the sepulchral murk of the earth, smothering it in howling grime and suffocating distortion.

NAIL070 Kêres (Finland) – Eidolon Abraxas

On ‘Eidolon Abraxas’ we find the minimalistic and regressive approach and raw guitar sound of ‘Ice, V***r and Crooked Arrows’ and ‘Vexilloid’, mixed with the more melodious sound of ‘Book of Desire’.

In addition, the keyboards that were especially present on ‘Vexilloid’ make their return, making ‘Eidolon Abraxas’ an album that’s gritty but also has an otherworldly, melancholic atmosphere.

More than ever before, the band flirts with the Greek Black Metal sound, but without getting anywhere near all the bombast.
Instead, the Heavy Metal melodicism and the spooky keys of some of that scene’s frontrunners can be found back on the latest Kêres record.

Due to the rawer sound and Beherit and Barathrum infuence, at no point does Kêres sound like a clone of, well anything really.
It sounds undeniably as Kêres, raw with the raspy vocals of Atvar, minimalistic in progression and with an odd sense of catchiness.

Consisting of eight songs, the more traditional Black Metal tracks are interspersed with three ambient/dungeon synth interludes that mostly enhance the alienating atmosphere of the record.

NAIL069 Circle of Ouroborus - Lumi Vaientaa Kysymykse

The 23rd record from the Finnish masters of ethereal Black Metal experimentalism.

Like with any other release from this duo, a new album always feel like a gift from the higher planes, always deserving of multiple listens, with moments of beautiful introspection and self-learning as well as blissful melancholia.

With "Lumi Vaientaa Kysymykse" we can see still some elements of recent CoO albums, with a lot of soothing, shoegazing melodies passing through, however the pace is rather toned down into a more dragging and Doomy pace, often reminiscing with Katatonia, both in tempo as melody wise, and with an approach more akin to records like "Kuuhun Kahlittu" and some part which are particularly metallic and acrid, such as the beginning of the second track, almost closer to Atvar's work under Kêres. The Post-Punk basslines however are still always there creating their own shamanistic, hypnotic sound, as well as the feverish experimentalism characteristc of 70s and 80s Psych and Folk rock and adjacent much present in the keyboards and daring, outsider guitarwork, particularly in "Lankeemus".

Another absolute masterful record that touches all the vital points of Circle of Ouroborus' sound while still being refreshing and much surprising

Klanen start strong with a furious song followed by Μνήμα's demented black metal noise, the split shifts into a freezing hailstorm conjured by Celestial Sword and The Oracle closes the split in a soothing way

NAIL068 Starcave Nebula - Trhä

Terrific magical alliance between two of the best hordes in the Raw Black Metal underground in the last couple years.

The Canadian maniacs in Starcave Nebula deliver a long track of blistering, ultra-lo-fi, acidic and psychotropic Improv Raw Black Metal mayhem, with askew, mind-warping riffage, and pummeling drum performance that absolutely annihilates and demolishes your ribcage .

Trhä's first two songs offer some of their most orthodox release to date, following a more traditional approach. Trhä still never by any means loses its magical character, otherwordly atmosphere or spirit.
These tracks follow more along the line of the "Mã Héshiva..." and "Vat gëlénva!!!" albums, with influences from bands such as Mütiilation, Mystic Forest or Manierisme.
The third track however features again a more fairytale atmosphere, with the addition of the pop-ish, upbeat synthesizers that appear in "Tálcunnana..." or "Endlhëdëhaj..."

This will be a different post!

So it seems I was fortunate this year and I unexpectedly managed to take a couple days off from work to visit my "happy place" in Greece.
The next few days are dedicated to my family and communication will be slow or most probably non existent.

It is with great honour that I announce that His Wounds Records will be releasing Brume D' Automne's "Brume D' Automne" and "La Grande Noirceur" albums for the first time ever on vinyl.

Originally released on cd in 2012 and 2018 they will finaly be available on vinyl with updated layout and specifically mastered for the format.

Founded in 2003 by Athros (Forteresse/Ur Falc’h) and Nordet (Ur Falc’h), Brume d’Automne have been considered as one of the forerunners of the “Métal Noir Québécois” movement.
Blending raw Black Metal with Québec’s traditional/folkloric music Brume d’Automne opened up Québec’s Black Metal scene and helped shaped it as it stands today.

"Meditation on the lunar steppes", the fifth return of the bass driven, atmospheric, serpentine orator Arvalastra.
Delivering a new manifesto focused on the microcosmos-macrocosmos hermetic tuitions, using as always the old scriptures of the philosophers as well as Dusk's own interpretations on the creation of the matter and the universe.

Recording of all instruments, vocals, mixing and mastering by Dusk at Haunting Menace Studio between 2020 and 2021
No guitars were used on the recording, only electric bass, acoustic bass, and drums.

- Pressed on 140g vinyl housed in a 300gsm Single sleeve cover Reverse printed with Matte finish and 3mm spine
- Includes a double-sided 12x12" insert printed on high quality rough Maxi Offest paper
- Black poly-lined inner sleeve and high quality protective sleeves
- Specifically mastered for vinyl by Haris V. at The Eleventh Tower Studios

Harrowing Domains delivers on its title with the kinds of ferocious, relentless savagery that will leave welts on your soul.
While this project adheres to the second wave blackened primitivism, it manages to go further than many projects are able to go.
This record manages to create a claustrophobic and twisted madness, be it the insane guitar solos and also cool bass lines, the cacophony but also demented vocals, that are very elastic and able to hit a wide tone range.
