Chakma History in Chakma Language |
Kings, Religion ,War , Downfall of Kingdom
VIDEO 👉:- https://youtube.com/c/AtulChakma

In this Video I have explained about Buddhist History of Chakma Community . Chakma belived that they're descent of Sakya . According to Bijak ( History) there are 83 kings ,out of them 5 Chakma kings who renounced their Kingdom and became Buddhist Monks . They're Guno Dhan, Ananda Mohan , Kshudrajit , Sandhya Sur, Ramtongza ( Moisang ) .

I also explained about the downfall of Chakma Kingdom after defeated by Magh King ( 1333) . Both Communities were Buddhists by Religion but there was fight between them for empire or wealth. During 1340 to 1400 atrocities started against Chakma then a proverbs sung by Chakma ancestors . There are few anti Chakma who have been misinterpreting to this proverb and misguiding to innocent Buddhists chakma to convince them to convert into another religion .

SayNo to Illegal Special Census .

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh wanted to conduct a Special Census only for Chakma and Hajong which is illegal as per Law . Despite of Human Right Commission direction Govt of Arunachal continuing their special census .

However the Joint Action Committee of Chakma and Hajong leaders objected and decided not to co-operate unless government agency don't sit for dialogue and clear their intention behind illegal census.

Buddhist Library in Tibet

Will this treasure of knowledge come to light from "Captured Tibet"? This Sakya Monastery, an incredible library found in Tibet with 84,000 secret manuscripts that include the history of mankind for more than 5,000 years ! This Buddhist monastery is located 25 km south-east of a bridge that is about 127 km west of Shigatse, on the road to Tingri, which is an autonomous region of China. This is perhaps the largest and one of the rare oldest libraries in the world on the oldest and most distant stories of human life. Will this unique place be ever available for all?

In this case ( NHRC vs state of Arunachal Pradesh 1996 ) Supreme Court held that " Every Citizen and Non Citizen are entitled to get Right to Life and Liberty of Article 21 of Indian Constitution . Therefore it was Historical and Landmark Judgement on Indian History. This case in known as " Chakma Migrants Case"

During the partition of India in 1947, Chakma Community of Chittagong Hill Tracts (now Bangladesh) sought to be a part of India but illegally Chittagong Hill Tracts was awarded to Pakistan .

During 1964 after India and China war , some Chakma were brought by Government of India to Permanently settle them in India-China border to guard and protect India border from Chinese. Government provided all facilities but due to bad politics all facilities were withdrawn from chakmas .

In 1980, State government adopted resolution to deportation to Chakma and hajong from Arunachal Pradesh and had withdrawn all "facilities given to Chakmas": no jobs, no ration cards, no official assistance. they are not allowed run any business or work in any government sector and they also don't get benifits from any government schemes.

Apex Student body of Arunachal issued to Chakma-Hajong to left Arunachal within deadline.

Assam Government sealed its borders and shoot-at-sight orders have been issued in certain areas to discourage a Chakma influx.

All the schools were withdrawn from Chakma inhabitants areas and imposed economical banned on chakma and hajong community .

Chakma are one such community who suffer such political discrimination . Chakma are Buddhist and hajong are Hindu but none of them will be benefited from Citizenship Amendment Act .

In Arunachal Pradesh migrants Chakma and Hajong were eligible to be citizen as per Indra Gandhi Mujibur Rahman pact (1972) and Supreme Court ordered to government to provide citizenship to Chakma. according to section 5 (1) A and whoever born in India they're citizens by birth under section 3 (i) of Indian Citizenship Act 1955 .

In 9th January 1996 Supreme Court delivered a historical Judgement on Chakma Migrants Case and directed to Arunachal Pradesh to protect the Life and Liberty of Chakma and Hajong of Arunachal Pradesh .

In 2015 suprememe Court delivered a historical Judgement to grant Citizenship to Arunachal Pradesh Chakma within 3 months but its been more than 3 years still no right to Chakma and Hajong of Arunachal Pradesh .

After two Historical Judgement of Supreme Court chakmas and Hajong are being deprived from their fundamental rights in Arunachal Pradesh since 5 decades . After the direction of NHRC, Rajyasabha and election commission many Chakmas who are born in India are still waiting for their enrolment in the electoral rolls , only 5000 Chakmas are enrolled in the electoral list out 65000 .

Most of the Chakmas depend on cultivation .
The Chakma’s are economically so poor and it is difficult to believe that even after seventy three years of Independence some are living Below Poverty Line (BPL) and government does not have any plan for these marginalized sections of the society.

In Arunachal Pradesh, its unfortunate to say that the entire settlements of the Chakmas are largely on the banks of the rivers which always remain flooded during the rainy season.

25 years after judgement of on Chakma Migrants Case and what is present situation of and of Arunachal Pradesh ? Whether they ...

His Eminence Sadhanananda Mahathera was born on January 8 in 1920 in Moghban union of Sadar upazila in Rangamati Hill District. His original name was Ratindra Chakma. Since his early life, Mr. Ratindra was very gentle, honest, polite, kind, noble, and religious. Occasionally, he used to practice meditation in a secluded place in the midst of his works and studies. He was educated up to class four standards only from their village primary school. As he was not interested in general study, he gives up for further education.

When turned 29 years old, Mr. Ratindra was faced one of the remarkable episode in his life which is given an opportunity to renounced the world. It was an eleven year old girl, the only children of their parent suddenly died in their village. All of her relatives and villagers came and get together. The dead body was kept aside near the veranda. On the other-hand, the parent and relatives of the dead body’s crying loudly. A young Ratindra is watching carefully all this scenarios silently from one side. He realized that one day, he has to die like this girl and also have to cry like her parents and relatives. After watching this episode, he strongly determined that he will not be joining in the worldly life.

By the help of Dr. Gajendra Lal Barua, he met Venerable Dipankar Srigyan Mahathera, who was Chief Abbot of the Nandan Kanan Buddhist Temple and was ordained as a Novice monk (Shramanera) under him in 1949 at the age of 29; which was full moon day in the month of March. His Novice-hood named was given Ven. Ratindra Shramanera by his Preceptor.

After few months in the ordained temple, Ven. Ratindra left the temple and took shelter in the dense forest. Ven. Ratindra arrived at Dhanapata in end of 1949, he chooses the dense forest of those areas and will be suitable for him to practice. So, firmly decided not to move anywhere any more until and unless reach his final goal.

From 1949-1960(around 11 years), he was diligently in concentration at a stretch for 11years in solitude.

A close lay supporter Mr. Nishi Moni Chakma and others on behalf of the villager came to invite and to take him to Diginala in the end of 1960. After came there, started diligently ascetic practice again.

In the middle of 1961, Ven.Ratindra Shramanera took Full Ordination as a Bhikkhu under thePreceptor of Ven. Gunalankar Mahathera at the age of 41. Manyprominent monks were present during his ordination ceremony;such as Ven. Jinavamsa Mahathera, Ven. Ananda Mitra Mahathera, Ven. Rajguru Aggavamsa Mahathera, and Ven. Gyanasri Thera andso on.

In middle of 1970, Bana Bhante was shifted to Dursuri from Diginala and was 6/7 months there. Later on earnest request from Mr. Anil Bihari Chakma(Headman and Chairman)moved to Tintilya of Longadu at the end of 1970. In 1971,after 11 years (11 Vassa = Rain Retreat) of his Bhikkhu-hood, Bana Bhante started giving Dhamma Discourses publicly on his Spiritual journey and achievements.

In 1975, a piece of land was donated by the Chakma Royal family and constructed Raj Bana Vihar. In 1977, Bana Bhante along with his disciples shifted to permanently at Rangamati from Tintilya, where the present Raj Bana Vihar was constructed. Since then he has been lived there until his passing away, as an Abbot and Spiritual Teacher.

After achieved in the final stage, he came out in the public to teach the truth what he found. He preached the Dhamma on the Four Noble Truths and The Noble Eightfold Path in depth, and Dependent Origination in the way that applicable to the contemporary society.

During the period of his life largely served the community regardless of race, gender, and religious backgrounds, and always advised and taught to people how to engage in realistic practice such as compassion, love, peace and nonviolence.

Buddhist Flag in India not only symbol of peace
but also symbol of revolution for social changes

Revolution against Injustice without bloodshed
Revolution against inequality without hatred

Meaning of the Colours of the Buddhist Flag

1. Blue: signifying the concept of loving kindness and peace in Buddhism

2. Yellow: signifying the Middle Path, that is, the complete absence of form and emptiness

3. Red: signifying achievement, wisdom, virtue, fortune and dignity.

4. White: signifying purity, emancipation, that the Dharma will always exist regardless of time or space.

5. Orange: The essence of Buddhism which is full of wisdom, strength and dignity.

6. The Combination of these five colors symbolizes that it is the one and only Truth.
