Amanda Brennan is an acting coach, trainer, producer and Lecturer. She has worked extensively in Film, Television and Theatre and is currently a Principal Lecturer at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she runs an MA in Screen Acting. She has prepared/coached actors on many projects including Chuck Chuck Baby (2023), Aliens (2023) Ruth (2023) Sight Unseen,(2023)The Mogal Khan (2023) The Yellow Tie (2023) Outcasts (2023)Rivals (2023) The Night Before (2023) Anika (2023) Fifteen Love (2023) The Crown (2023) S*x Education 2021 - 3. As a producer her films have been screened at various film festivals including London, Raindance, Underwire, Encounters, Sundance. She is the author of The Energetic Performer and has The Craft of Screen Acting due to be published in 2024.

Course outline

The Craft of Screen Acting led by Amanda Brennan
This two day course will take a holistic approach to refining your performance on screen. It will cover a range of exercises which will bring physical ease, a connection and expansion of the inner life, and an understanding of how to make the adjustment from theatre to film. The sessions will be practical, they will include on camera work with an overall aim of harnessing emotion and increasing your presence in front of the camera.
