I regularly consult the fairies about my podcast episodes, and this is what they shared with me about the most recent one I'm working on. It really hit me hard, so I thought I'd share it with you all. It's a warning.

Humanity is on a dangerous course, a dangerous path.

You are looking to the wrong people for leadership. Handing away your power to these people is dangerous, not just for you humans, but for the entire planet.

And why? What is it for? To make the wounded child parts of you feel safe? This is foolishness.

Remember what it truly means to be human. Remember your responsibility to all of life. Grow up. Step up to the task that you are given, by being here on this earth.

If you do not, you will perish... by your own hand. If you do not heal your wounds, you will visit those same wounds upon others.

This is not the way.

Pretending to be beings of light does nothing to heal these wounds. It does nothing to stop you from acting out those wounds.

This is not the way.

Growing up means taking responsibility for yourself. And that means doing the work of healing, noticing your impact, and putting the needs of the collective ahead of your own.

Although in truth, they do not conflict. Only the needs of the wounded child conflicts with the needs of the greater whole.

The only way forward is to meet those needs of the wounded child within yourself, for yourself. Do not expect others to do this for you. Do not look to others to do this for you. Stop looking for mother and father to save you and protect you out in the world.

You are no longer children.

So stop acting like it.

Not all parts of ourselves make us feel good. But when we deny part of who we are, we diminish our authenticity, power, and radiance.

“Finding beauty in the night, in the dark sides of our personality, in the dark sides of our life—that is a difficult spiritual challenge. How do we love our somber moods and our fears, our anger and our pain? How do we love these in other people?

There is no easy answer to these questions. To live fully, however, we cannot cut off and cast away half of life. We must struggle to accept what we wish to push away. Only by doing so will we become truly and fully alive to the possibilities of our world and ourselves.”

The content of what you believe in doesn't matter. All beliefs are equally valid, but they don't all have the same impact on the world. The true measure of any belief system is what it results in, in the actual, real world.
