Again, Robin was hand raised syringe fed and bottle fed. We even swaddled her like a newborn baby for comfort. She slept in the bed with us sealed up for her first two weeks of life. She sucked a paci thanks to my mom and Madi. We baby talked to her, like a human baby.
She had no Dam or litter mates to help her with socialization or bonding with any more dogs for her first month of life. We then started letting her play with the poodles. My mom started taking her to classes/ training to be house trained at 14 weeks old.
To my family she was so loving and sweet and didn’t know her own strength and size 🤣 she would force us to hold her she loved to be held and cuddled. She was a beast to other dogs and would avoid other humans.
I must admit, Madi was her person as she got older , that was her cuddle partner. That’s who fed, walked and played with her daily.
She loved her family. We are all so hurt. I am broken. I’m questioning a lot of things. My heart is saying I’m done with dogs because this heartbreak 💔 is something I can’t bare to have again. My mind is telling me she wouldn’t want me to stop.
She was my BABY from just a few hours old until almost 4 years old!

I’m just praying for guidance and peace.

I have a disabled veteran looking for an emotional support dog. I am so sad I have nothing available to offer him.
