Hello everyone, I am excited to share the second edition of the EDNAV podcast. My guest is Mr. Nathan James, the owner of Noble Athletics. They are a CrossFit gym in which I have been a member since February 2020. They have been the best gym that I have ever been apart of, and have been wonderfully supportive. I would like to thank all of the coaches that have helped me along the way : Dre Allen, Laura Pilchuk James, Eric Wong, Coach Ma. Please check them out, if you get a chance.

This law passed in 1985 was a huge help in gaining equality for people with disabilities in Virginia. It protected disabled Virginians from discrimination, and had an overall positive impact on the disability community in Virginia!

In 1985, our Commonwealth passed the Virginians with Disabilities Act to protect people with disabilities from discrimination and help them live with independence and dignity—concepts that would form the basis of the federal Americans with Disabilities Act five years later.

As we reflect on the progress made over the more than 30 years since these two landmark laws were passed, we know there is more work to be done. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring Virginia is a place of inclusion and equal opportunity for all.
