Sad to report tonight the passing of WEIR Alum Charlie Mitchell. Once I learn of funeral details I will post them. Prayers to Janet and his family. RIP Charlie.

BIG 14 WEIR REUNION Christmas Party 3pm next Saturday @ Scaffidis. $19.02 covers your buffet, tip, taxes and non alcoholic beverages. After we eat and chat it's off to Nutcracker Village. If you have worked for or are working for WEIR you are welcome to join us. Many WEIR titans will be unhand. Let me know if you can join in!

Sad news to report this evening . Dave Himmerlrick's mom passed away this week. Our church, The Weirton Heights Church of Christ served a funeral dinner for the family and I had a chance to chat with Dave. I invited him to join our group! I worked with Dave in 1991 when I returned to the market.

Greetings! As this past Saturday's reunion came to a close those in attendance agreed we need to keep this group going. Working together farther in advance it is our hope more former employees of WEIR/WCDK and current ones will join us for these get togethers. We had great fellowship sharing old stories and having an incredable meal togeter. As we disembarked we chatted about maybe having a Christmas Party. My thought would be to pick a Saturday maybe December 3 or 10th around 2pm and have a buffett lunch at Scaffidis in Steubenville. The owner now is the host of the Neopolitan serenade airing on WEIR. Following our meal we can head downtown and tour the Nutcracker Village! Let me know your thoughts and ideas so we can set the wheels in motion!

The Big 14 WEIR reunion is tomorow at 12pm...Locatrion Marland Heights Picnic shelter #3 next to Williams Country Club in Weirton. Menu includes Mario DiCarlos Pizza Hamburgers and Dogs...soda and water also provided. Everyone bring a side or dessert...Looking forward to a great afternoon of friendship and sharing of tales!

It's two weeks away. The Big 14 WEIR reunion, anyone who has or is currently worked for WEIR or WCDK is invited Saturday August 20th 12pm-? at Marland Heights Picnic Shelter #3. $20 admission includes Mario DiCarlo Pizza, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Pop and Water (No alcohol permitted on the grounds) Also can everyone please bring a side or dessert? Remember I will return equally to everyone all monies not used. I have been informed that Kevin Ellias plans to join us, so we have 18 planning to attend. Last thing we need a corn hole game and a mixer amp with mic that a phone can be plugged in for music. Looking forward to a great day! If you haven't RSVP'd, let me know. (740) 632-5803.
