Young Entrepreneur POOJA APTE Upcycles Scrap Tyres To Make Sustainable And Fashionable Footwear
in MANN KE MAUSAM, Meet Pooja Apte, a young engineer turned entrepreneur from Pune whose upcycling company Blink Green produces a whole range of footwear that is made of scrap tyres. Reasonably priced and available for both the genders, these footwears are sold under the brand name 'Nemital' which means tyre sole in Sanskrit.
With her sample products, Pooja participated in Startup India Yatra held by Maharashtra State Innovation Society & Startup India in which she received the ‘Best Woman Wannapreneur’ award i.e. best upcoming woman entrepreneur award with a cash prize of Rs 5,00,000. The entrepreneur has also received two more awards from the Environmental Club of India and the Trans-Asian Chamber of commerce respectively.
Blink Green has upcycled more than 400kgs of waste tyres with a team of 2 full-time employees and 6 karigars on a contract basis working towards more recycled products in the future.

डॉ राम बहादुर मिश्र
जिस प्रकार तुलसीदास ने 16वीं शताब्दी में, बनारस में गंगा के तट पर रामचरितमानस अवधी में रच कर राजाराम को जननायक बना दिया, उसी प्रकार हैदरगढ़ बाराबंकी के डॉक्टर राम बहादुर मिश्र अवधी भाषा के प्रसार के लिए पिछले 40 वर्षों से विख्यात हैं । 1985 में लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय से ‘ अवधी फाग साहित्य’ में पीएचडी के बाद डॉ मिश्र ने अपना जीवन अवधी भाषा को समर्पित कर दिया। 1990 में उन्होंने अवध भारती संस्थान की स्थापना की। 1990 से 94 तक अवधि त्रैमासिक पत्रिका ‘जोंधइया’ का संपादन प्रकाशन किया। 1994 से मैगजीन ‘ अवध ज्योति’ का पिछले 26 वर्षों से संपादन प्रकाशन कर रहे हैं। शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में विशिष्ट सेवा के लिए 2016 में राष्ट्रपति पुरस्कार से सम्मानित डॉ राम बहादुर मिश्र अवधि के प्रचार प्रसार के लिए भारत के भीतर और बाहर अनेक देशों की यात्राएं कर के लोगों में अवधि की अलग जलाने का निरंतर प्रयास कर रहे हैं। 4 पुस्तकों पर उत्तर प्रदेश हिंदी संस्थान इन्हें पुरस्कृत कर चुका है। अवधि में लेखन, शोध, संपादन और प्रकाशन के जरिए एक भाषा के संरक्षण का जो कार्य समग्रता में डॉक्टर राम बहादुर मिश्र ने अब तक किया है, उसके कारण विश्व में अवधि के एकमात्र साधक और जानकार का दर्जा उन्हें मिल चुका है।

किसी उपलब्धि पर खुश होना, गर्व महसूस करना एक बात है, लेकिन उपलब्धि को हासिल करना बहुत मुश्किल होता है। खासतौर से जब यह अपनी जड़ों को तलाशने का मामला हो। अवधी लोक जीवन और साहित्य की संजीवनी है, इसे जिलाए रखने के आपके प्रयासों को न केवल जानना चाहिए बल्कि इनसे जुड़ना भी चाहिए।

Dr Usha Saxena is a multifaceted woman who is way ahead of her times. she is a prolific writer and has devoted her life to Hindi Sahitya. Some of her path-breaking work includes -

Doctor Usha Saxena also wrote various plays for radio, essays, a book on journalism in Hindi- titled- Madhyam lekhan. she is also written books for children.

बुंदेलखंड में जन्मी डॉ उषा सक्सेना ने संस्कार तो बुंदेलखंड से पाए लेकिन उनकी शिक्षा-दीक्षा साहित्य संगीत- कला नगरी इलाहाबाद में हुई। शिक्षा के साथ-साथ साहित्य और शास्त्रीय संगीत का भी समावेश हुआ। इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के विख्यात अध्यापकों का रचनात्मक प्रभाव उषा सक्सेना की कभी ना भूलने वाली यादों का हिस्सा है। डॉ उषा सक्सेना ने कहानी, उपन्यास, नाटक तो लिखे ही, उनकी सबसे बड़ी देन है, बुंदेलखंड के लोग जीवन से जुड़ी कहानियां और पात्र जिन्हें उन्होंने अपनी रचनाओं का विषय बनाया। लोक कथाओं के संग्रह के साथ-साथ उन पर आधारित चित्र कथाएं भी दैनिक हिंदुस्तान में नियमित प्रकाशित हुई। उषा जी ने रेडियो के लिए काफी नाटक लिखें, दूरदर्शन के लिए भी उषा जी ने रिसर्च आधारित कई दुर्लभ स्क्रिप्ट लिखी चीन का राष्ट्रीय प्रसारण भी हुआ।

डॉक्टर ऊषा सक्सेना की अब तक 35 किताबें प्रकाशित हैं, आठ पुरस्कार- सम्मान मिले हैं जिनमें शामिल हैं 2004 का उत्तर प्रदेश हिंदी संस्थान का साहित्य भूषण सम्मान, बुंदेली निधि एवं श्रीमती जमुना अग्निहोत्री स्मृति साहित्य श्री सम्मान।

पीर परायी जाने रे... Dr Mamta Kapoor, inspite of herself suffering from permanent hundred percent disability due to infantile neuro muscular attrophy, has been healing patients suffering from various serious ailments, with her expertise in homeopathy, Reiki and sincere best wishes.

Born in a middle class family of bankers as the eldest child of her parents, she never let her disability come in the way of her personality development, and has made a mark for herself in society. She did her schooling and college from the famous Gujarat College in Ahmedabad, and thereafter pursue her education in Law and Rashtra Bhasha Kovid and Ratna, and emerged successful in flying colours. She started her career in ESI at Ahmedabad, after which she secured a job in the Reserve Bank of India, and retired as an officer in December 2011.

She developed interest in Homeopathy and Reiki about three decades back, and soon developed mastery in both. She boasts of having treated several critical patients, both from India and abroad.
