HOW TO SURVIVE THIS CURRENT SITUATION IN NIGERIA

1. Don't take it personal, it's a general problem affecting everybody. Don't go and be displaying your nakedness in the bank, those who did didn't get shishi.

2. Suspend your projects for now, if necessary until things normalize. Don't kill yourself because you have set a target for yourself.

3. The most important thing now is feeding and health. It's not bad if you touch your savings at this time to survive.

4. Reduce going about to places that are not very important.

5. Stop the unnecessary show of affluence and you don't have to impress anyone now. If you cannot maintain your standard please reduce it for now. If you don't eat meat this time you won't die.

6. Avoid bad and shocking news if you can, especially if you already have high blood pressure. Instead listen to good music, watch comedies and laugh out stress.

7. This is not the time to forsake God or get discouraged in serving God. In fact this is the time to *serve God more

8. Always know that this time will still come and pass like CORONA VIRUS etc. Don't kill yourself because your tomorrow is far better than your today.

We will conquer this one too by the special grace of God, Amen

Nigerian Father Flogs Child's School Teacher To Death For Disciplining Student In Delta

Sunday Onyisi Ufah, a teacher with Alihami Secondary School at Agbor in the Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State has been reportedly flogged to death by an aggrieved parent.

SaharaReporters learnt that the tragic incident occurred on Wednesday.

A source told SaharaReporters that the drama started after certain students of the school allegedly scaled the school fence to steal and drink an old man's palm wine. The old man subsequently reported to the school authority.

"The students were immediately identified and then flogged as part of a disciplinary measure.

"One of the students informed his father. After school, he then made several threatening calls to the late teacher. The parent later showed up at the school. After a long argument, the parent flogged the late teacher, who in the process slumped.

"The teacher gave up the ghost before they got him to Agbor Central Hospital," the source said.

The late Ufah was described as a Christian, physics teacher and a child evangelist for decades, mentoring and leading children to Christ.

The Delta State Police Command spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident to SaharaReporters, noted that the father of the student had been arrested.

"Yes, it's true, the man involved has been arrested and is currently detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation," he said.

Rivers State University student falls from moving vehicle and d!es during jean carnival

A student of the Rivers State University, RSU, Port Harcourt, has d!ed during a Jeans Carnival held to mark the Students Week.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

The student was said to be sitting on the side of the vehicle when he lost his balance and fell.

The student whose identity is yet to be ascertained was rushed to the hospital but d!ed from his injuries.

Following the incident, the registrar of the university, Dr. Sydney Enyindah, in a memo, announced the suspension of other activities marking the students week.

“Following the unfortunate and sad incident which occurred during the “Jeans Carnival” on Tuesday 5th September, 2023, resulting in the d£ath of a student, the Management of the University has directed the immediate suspension of the remaining activities of the Student Union Week," the memo reads.

A man who recently returned from Dubai, United Arab Emirates has been beaten to death by some policemen.

The victim identified as Tammy Okubama was reportedly beaten to death by operatives attached to a Rain Oil Filling Station in collaboration with vigilantes in Ugbomro, Effurun Delta State.

Narrating the incident to our correspondent, a younger brother to the deceased, Nathaniel Okubama explained that Tammy was killed and his body secretly deposited at a morgue.

“We are yet to get to the bottom of the case but he was supposedly killed by vigilantes and policemen who are yet to be identified,” he said.

Nathaniel explained that the family was notified of Tammy’s death by a staff at the morgue his body was deposited.

“it was a staff at the Warri Central Hospital that called to inform us that his body was brought to the mortuary some mobile policemen,” he narrated.

While reason for the attack on the deceased is yet to be ascertained, the family suggests “it must have been a case of mistaken identity.”

The deceased had two wives, four children and aged mother and other dependence before his murder.

Attempts to contact the Police Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Command DSP Bright Edafe proved abortive as calls to his line were left unanswered as of press time.
