How to save yourself angst on social media this holiday season (unpopular opinion): 👇

✨ If you haven't already started a holiday campaign, it's too late to do it this year. Sorry! Instead, put energy into continuing to balance your content, and don't get sucked into a SALES heavy vortex.
✨ Lean WAY into your content calendar so that you can feel relieved your posts are planned and focus more on the logistics of your business during the busy season.
✨ Invest in a scheduling tool (or social media manager) so that your posts can be scheduled over the holidays and you can power down.
✨ POWER DOWN! Take time off before the holiday to really unplug. The only way to have a sustainable social media marketing plan is to not get burnt out. So power down that iPhone for the first time in 2021. 🤟 And find the joy of missing out (we recommend this journal as a top gift this year! 😘)

According to the latest data, 93% of social media marketers say that social has accelerated competition within their industries! So, how do you stand out?! You gotta put in the WORK 👇

✨ Kinda hate to say this and sound like a cliche marketer but it really does start with having a strong brand. So check yourself -- look at your logo, do you have brand standards? Have you worked on your messaging? Honed in on your tone of voice? This stuff may all sound frivolous but it's what's going to build trust amongst your audience
✨ Really OWN your unique brand, that's what's going to make you stand out (please no more stock photos and Canva templates, the gram has enough of those!) This takes time and effort but it does pay off. For those DIYers out there, we recommend dedicating an hour (during your most creative time of day) to brainstorm and create content!
✨ Be an authentic contributor - engage with your followers, don't be that friend that always talks about themselves! Comment on their posts, check in on them regularly, and LISTEN! Listen to what they are saying so you can become a better partner in the relationship by reacting to their interests.
