The Downtown Park will change its maintenance day this week to TOMORROW, Tuesday, August 13. The playground, stream and the trail nearby will be CLOSED for the day while tree maintenance is being done. Thank you for your patience as we work hard to keep our parks safe for all visitors!

⚠️Important Update: National Night Out Rescheduled

Due to impending inclement weather, the Town of Waxhaw has rescheduled the National Night Out event to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our community. The event will now be held on Oct. 1, 2024.

The Village of Marvin is partnering with our friends at Union County Parks and Recreation to offer Marvin’s Day Camp at the Lake! Marvin's Day Camp at the Lake will be on Thursday, August 15 from 11am-1:45pm at Cane Creek Park (5213 Harkey Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173) and will feature beginner-level archery and paddleboarding lessons. Participants will split into two groups and will alternate between archery and paddleboarding. Lunch will be provided in between activities at Noon. YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM CANE CREEK PARK. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This event is intended for third graders through rising seniors and will focus on beginner-level instruction. This event is free for Marvin Residents and $5 for non-residents.
