A very devastating drought has continued to worsen. Portions of Pickaway, Ross and Fayette county have been moved into the worst drought conditions possible. Exceptional drought. These colors have NEVER been introduced for Ohio, and they continue to spread.
These conditions have NEVER been recorded in Scioto Valley History.
While portions of SE Ohio continue to have catastrophic drought conditions.
Understand me when I say, it truly cannot get any worse than this.

TORNADO MAP - June 5/6

Good afternoon everyone. Here is the tornado map from June 5th and 6th. We had 4 tornadoes confirmed bringing our total to 62 for the year in Ohio. This ties the record for most tornadoes in the Buckeye state in a single year. The strongest of the event occurred in northwestern Muskingum County near Frazeysburg. There were 8 injuries reported, but none were fatal. Here is a list of the tornadoes...

UPDATE: Additional Tornadoes Confirmed From 3/31 and 4/1…

We had 10 additional tornadoes confirmed from surveys that were completed over the last several days:

2 - Jay County, Indiana
3 - Allen County, Ohio
1 - Miami County, Ohio
1 - Darke County, Ohio
2 - Auglaize County, Ohio
1 - Crawford County, Ohio

This brings the total to 15 tornadoes and 2 microbursts from this event alone. This marks one of the larger events in recent memory. If any additional events are confirmed we will share them with you. Be sure you have ways to receive warnings!
