The York Brush Brigade, a group of talented pinstripe artists from all over the country, recently came together to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater PA and WV. These amazing artists paid their own way to the NSRA Nationals East event and generously donated their time and talent to create works of art to raise money for the kids. This year's auction was a huge success and broke a new record, raising an incredible $30,472.50 over the weekend. In the last 9 years, the York Brush Brigade has raised a grand total of $181,646.45 for this amazing cause.

Thank you to all of the artists, volunteers, sponsors, and generous individuals who helped make this event such a success. It's inspiring to see so many people come together to support such an important cause. The York Brush Brigade will be back next year for the NSRA Street Rod Nationals 50th Anniversary! Mark you calendars for May 31 - June 2, 2024. See you next year!

I recently worked on a project that is near and dear to my heart. The York Brush Brigade is donating their time and talent to the NSRA Nats East Car Show, where their work will be auctioned off throughout the weekend. All proceeds from the auctions will go to the Make A Wish Foundation, a wonderful cause that supports children with critical illnesses. I'm thrilled to be a part of this event and I hope you'll come out to support your local artists and this great cause!

Task Breeze was started when I was living overseas between 2015-2018 and direct sales was popular among American women. I first met Danica, one of my best friends and first clients, at an in-home party for Pure Romance by Danica. Danica was a busy independent consultant on the small island they lived on and needed help with her business, which I was happy to provide. My duties included scheduling Facebook posts, creating party folders, sorting orders, labeling, preparing demonstration items, printing invoices, occasionally assisting with events, organizing receipts, and filing. After working for Danica for several months, my next client was Kim Merritt Lemongrass Spa Consultant. I enjoyed working for Kim, a successful business owner, mother, and wife. My duties for Kim included scheduling Facebook posts, data entry, organizing the office, labeling, and preparing for events. My third client was S-Trube Pinstriping, for whom I have been running the page since 2021, creating graphics, promotions, videos, and writing content posts for the business. S-trube Pinstriping is still a client to this day.

Pure Romance by Danica has been a returning customer of Task Breeze! I was hired again for drop shipping services and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Danica once more. She had everything I needed delivered to my home and I was able to fulfill orders and ship them directly to her clients. I also made sure to send updates to clients about their orders and monitor the business Facebook group to ensure everything was running smoothly. It's always a joy to work with such a successful and professional business owner like Danica. Thank you for trusting me with your business again!

It's always interesting to hear about people's favorite apps and how they use them. Personally, I am a big fan of the Canva app. It's a great tool for creating graphics and designs, and I find it very user-friendly. While I'm working on Canva, I usually like to listen to music or an audiobook to keep me focused and motivated. That's why I always have either Spotify or Audible running in the background. This morning I spent time picking at a local greenhouse, picking out flowers with my daughter and MIL. I enjoyed seeing the joy on my daughters face as she picked out what she’d like to bring home and what to give to her teacher. We even brought home strawberry and watermelon plants! It looks like I will spending time in the garden this year.

It was a new experience for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed exploring and learning the process. It feels great to expand my skillset and take on new challenges. Growing up in the 90's, my childhood was defined by rotary dial phones, VHS tapes, and typewriters. While my friends were busy playing with the latest gadgets and technology, I was learning how to use a desktop computer and write letters by hand. My upbringing was rooted in "old fashioned" values, and I'm proud to say that I still carry those values with me today.
As an adult in the 21st century, I see myself as a bit of a throwback. I prefer physical books over e-readers, oldies over modern music, and board games over video games. I believe in taking the time to slow down and focus on the task at hand, rather than rushing through everything in a blur.
In a world that is constantly moving at a breakneck pace, my approach may seem a bit unconventional. But I believe that there is value in taking a step back and doing things the "old fashioned" way. Whether it's writing a letter by hand or having a face-to-face conversation, I believe that there is something special about the personal touch that these methods bring.
So yes, I may remind you of a 1950's secretary, but with a wide range of skills beyond just typing and answering the phone. I'm a proud product of my upbringing, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

As the weather warms up, car enthusiasts around the country are gearing up for another exciting season of car shows, swap meets, and flea markets. And I'm no exception! In fact, I've been working with a local car club to advertise their weekly Kars & Koffee event!!

There's something truly special about the car show scene. The smell of gasoline, the roar of engines, the shiny paint jobs and chrome accents – it all comes together to create a unique and exciting experience that never gets old. Whether I'm admiring classic cars from the 1950s or checking out the latest custom builds, I always leave feeling inspired and energized.

Of course, spending all day in the sun can be exhausting. That's why I've made sure that my camper is fully equipped for working on-the-go. With air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and all the tech I need to stay connected, I can take a break from the heat and get some work done whenever I need to.
So, if you're a fellow car enthusiast, be sure to say hi if you see me at a show or swap meet this summer. I'm always up for chatting about cars and sharing stories about our favorite rides. See you on the road!
