[MASON JARS] These little babies are far from new, but they are still worth talking about! Mason Jars are some of the most versatile items in any home. I use them for dry goods storage, making overnight oats, making and storing sauces and dressings, serving iced coffee, flower vase - you name it! I will always sing the praises of the mason jar, and continue to use them in my home.
✖ TIP ✖ STORE DRY GOODS
If you've ever had issues with critters - moths, ants, mice, etc. - then you may already be storing your dry goods in air tight containers. The reason why I love using Mason Jars is because they are pretty inexpensive, then fit together nicely to maximize space, they are dishwasher safe, and come with so many accessories and different types of lids to work for any item!
I use jars to store my rice, oats, flaxseed meal, chocolate chips, grits, couscous, granola... the list goes on and on! Using a uniform container to store all of your pantry items not only makes things look lovely and clean, but it helps maximize space. When all of the containers and boxes that your products come in are different sizes and shapes, it's tough to make them all fit well in your cupboard.
