COVERING OF HAIR:

YOU HAVE GOTTEN IT ALL WRONG SAYS PASTOR KUMUYI TO MEMBERS OF DEEPER LIFE
BIBLE CHURCH

*Stop imposing persistent head covering on ladies.
*Don’t drive people away from Church.
*That you are covering your hair does not mean you are good.
*Excessive covering leads to hair odour.
*Specific situations when covering is necessary.

General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi has cautioned ushers in his church to stop imposing head covering rules on ladies, stressing that persistent coverings causes heat in the hair and it will emit odour.

The revered Pastor lamented that many Christians who don’t know how to interpret the word of God are driving people away from the church.

His words, “Somebody is coming to our church for the first time. And she happens to be a lady not covering her head. We ask the person to cover her head before coming in. We don’t know whether the person does not even know God. We confront her out there before she even enters the church. We don’t know if she does not know how to pray or prophesy. But we impose rules on her.

“If I were the person, I would wonder what kind of church is this? If they treat me like a primary school girl, that will be my last time coming to the church.”

Citing 1 Corinthians 11:5 which dwells on the covering of the head for the female gender, Kumuyi explained that women should have their heads covered while praying or prophesying.

He also wondered why some sisters in the church would cover their heads for almost 20 hours a day; stating that many have made themselves unattractive by their appearance.

He said, “There are some women who are not attractive to their husbands. Some believe since they are married they are no longer obligated to look good before their husband. There are single sisters that are not presentable. ”

Kumuyi noted that because of persistent covering there will be “heat in the hair and it will emit odour,”

Women who practice such according to him, “put themselves in bo***ge because they never read the word.”

He said many of the sisters who insist on the covering of hair might not even be praying in the church. They just believe since they are covering their head, they are okay.

“If I don’t tell you maybe nobody will tell you. There are some wives who dress shabbily and are no longer attractive to the man. There are some single sisters that are not presentable. Anybody who is looking for the will of God may not be attracted to them.

The Bible says every woman that pray or prophesies. The reason why you are covering is either you are praying or prophesying.”

REASONS WHY SISTERS PREFER GUYS THAN CHURCH BROTHERS.

I have seen alot and I just want to share some with our brothers here.

Not every guy is a brother and not every brother is a guy.

You need to be both to be able to win a sister oo.

As a brother be real and free. Being born again did not take away your sense of humor, dressing, Charisma and carriage.

Stop looking like an armoured car going to war even though we know that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal sha.

You are not friendly, every sister that smiles at you wants to pull you down abeg you be wall of Jericho?

You are so serious more than a clothe that is starched, Haba na wetin happen?.

You don't socialize, na serious spirikoko you be.

Demons destroyer and fire activator. Weh done brother.

There is time for spiritual matters and time for physical matters.

You are not bold, outspoken and well mannered.

You lack composure. You can't communicate your intention simply without quoting Bible passages. Calm down abeg.

We know say you be mobile Bible in human form but relax ooo.

To most of you, canvas and jeans+chinos is a sin. Please who told you such?

It's suit 24/7, you don't have casual wears.. No polo, just T- shirt/and suit all the time.

See let me tell you, serious people die Easily and Quickly cos they don't know how to be themselves and relax.

You are touchy, every little joke infuriates you like a blazing furnace. You won't crack jokes and you will not also smile at the one another person Manages to crack.. Bros na wah for you ooo.

Some of you walk as if a gun is pointed at you from behind, no gentleman step at all.

Your eating habits is no where to be placed, you chew things like a mill grinding stone, you leak your fingers and the sound is like where rats are playing hide and seek.

No clean shave, your bears look like sharp objects looking for who to pierce, nails so untidy and unkept, your shoes are actually taking the oath of office and are tired.

You won't put on vest or singlet inside before wearing your shirt.

No boxers, pants or men's small short inside, you leave your "ministry" discreetly open for all to see. Your dress sense is ZERO.

You just wear your trousers fiam you are off, you even miss one belt hold when wearing your belt and you say nobody is looking at you abi? Ok ooo.

I know most of you don't like jeans, chinos, canvas but have u tried it and see how it will look on you?.

You won't wear wrist watch. Na sinners dey wear that one. Not putting on a wrist watch made a young man loose his chances at an interview.. He was simply asked "what's the time"?.. That was where he was written off.

You don't use Cologne talk more of body spray or Perfume. That's from the pit of hell right?.

When you finally wear your coat and wants to propose, you invite her to church with a big Bible and olive oil.. Bros na deliverance you come?

Change abeg. Let me stop here for now.

This picture right here was when I was admitted in the hospital. It started with me feeling some pain from my back, then a hellish pain in my arms.

I went for an MRI and the scientists told me that my bones were 20 years older than my age—over 60 years old when I’m in my 40s. They also told me that my spinal cord disc had shifted and all these other complicated things all happening to me at the same time.

I was always in pain. Sometimes I would hold my hand to my face and cry so badly. They told me that I had overstretched my body and a lot of other evil reports.

But as the song says when there is a chance for evil, God turns it for good.
I went home after some treatments and intensive prayers believing that I am healed and it is so.

Right now I’m really grateful to God for the gift of healing. I imagine the plan of the enemy was that I’ll be paralyzed but God turned it around.

To you reading this, God is turning that situation around for your good. No matter the report of the enemy concerning your life, the report of the lord says - he’s turning everything in your Favour!

Rejoice!!!!

Strong people can have weak moments. Even the strongest believers still struggle. Everyone has places of brokenness, a thorn that they’re dealing with.

But what if your thorn is there so you realize that you need God’s wisdom in your life? That you won’t find what you need in the north, the south, the east, or the west, but from the Lord.

The thorn might come from the enemy, but the grace to overcome it flows from God. You don’t have to like everything in your life right now, but He is working it all for your good.

The power of your "therefore" is greater than the power of the thorn you're facing. It's in the "therefore" that we're reminded God's purpose will always prevail.

Then suddenly the God of SWAG shows up , breaks every wait and puts TWO children in your womb for the wait....That's it .... God showed up and showed up well for you.

TWINZ!!! TWINZ!! TWINZ!!! Oh congrats ,congrats ..God gave you double for your wait, I remember those tears but He indeed wiped it away...2022 what a Great year.

TRUE LIFE STORY OF MIN. VICTORIA ORENZE.

While growing up, I was very stubborn. I am always fighting with every person. People look at me and ask, are you the one fighting, I said yes.

As small as I am, I fight people. I get so angry easily. The Spirit of anger takes over me that when people are talking or doing nonsense around me, I don't talk back, I just look for something and stabb the person.

I don't have the time exchanging words of abuse with people because in my mind, I reason in a way that if you can not beat me, why are you opening your mouth to talk to me.(Shekinah Glory TV) Anger took over me that if you are talking to me then, I will be quiet because I don't know how to talk back at people, all I want is to do something crazy to the person fighting me, get you off the floor and beat life out of such person and after the fight, people get afraid of me. That was the kind of life I use to live before.

God has called me into a Spiritual battle but I was ignorant fighting physical battles. I was fighting physical war, fighting and exchanging blows with people.(Shekinah Glory TV) Not just with women, with guys... You don't say because you are a man, you can just talk to me anyhow...I fight you for it.

Thank God for my mother, she's a spiritual person God put in my life. She said remember God called you... For some who have seen the story in Youtube.. I received the call of God and also gave my heart to Jesus Christ at the age of 9years old.

My mom who has seen the call of God in my life said to me that if I go on like this, I will not get to where God want me to be. She said if I go on with this kind of life of anger, I will not fulfill destiny.

My mom then prayed a prayer,I don't know if to call it a prayer or a curse, but my mom made a prayer and said she is going to tell the Lord that anytime I get angry, that the Lord should flog me"Olorun ma nae legba" translated in Yoruba.

She said God will deal with me anytime I get angry.. I actually overlooked it like it was meaningless but guess what? Everytime I get angry , I literarily fall sick. You will think something is wrong with me like i have malaria or something else. I will be shivering.

It happened the first time time I thought it was normal until it continued...after sometime, I decided to borrow myself some brain. (I helped my thinking faculty ).

That prayer was said so that I don't miss it in life...so that I can fulfill the destiny God had planned for me. So that I will do the things I am doing now.

If the Lord didn't helped me I won't be doing what am doing now. If the Lord didn't help me, you will not be blessed by anything am doing now. If the Lord didn't do that Spiritual surgery, that flogging, I will not be here today. I will not be a blessing to thousands.

If God has called you Globally, locally and you have the call of God upon your life, a surgery needs to happen in you where you old life dies and you take up the new life of God.

In the name of Jesus, the Lord will perform a surgery that takes away your weakness and hindrances to destiny fulfillment in the name of Jesus!!!

Sister, don't accept gifts from a man who is interested in you maritally, when you have no intentions of reciprocating that interest. This means you know he wants to have a relationship with you or to marry you. You have looked at the proposal up and down and you know that lai lai, this is not the guy...but you keep receiving gifts from him, lavishly.

That, is morally wrong. It is fraudulent. That means, you are a yahoo yahoo geh. Finish.

It is a different kettle of fish if you have told the suitor categorically that you are not doing. That you don't want to roll, and he is not listening....but keeps sending you gifts. If that is the case, or the portmanteau; do your best to refuse or return such gifts. Don't be saying to your friends "Awww, see what he sent! Gosh!!". No. Gosh it back to him goshfully; especially if it is expensive.

Be expensive in yourself and send it back. Don't be cheap.

I didn't say you should carry gift and go to his house in the night, or alone, in the name of returning a present. Please, avoid such unwisdom. Simply do your best to not take gifts pregnant with meaning from a fellow with whom you don't share that meaning with.

Brothers....brothers; please, it is wrong to make a lady or a family indebted to you by sponsoring the lady to school or giving her gifts. Don't send a lady to school because you want her to marry you. Make sure that she loves you the way you love her, that she wants to marry you and is old enough to make that decision by herself. Make sure what you have with her is a heart to heart transaction, not just a monetary one.

There is nothing wrong in investing in your fiancee as long as she is your fiancee; but it is morally decadent to sponsor a lady's education or fund her business and hold marriage in the balance. At any point in time, she is free to change her mind if she really does not love you. It may feel like cheating, but it is not. She does not owe you the rest of her life o. That is too heavy a price to demand, for all the money you spent. What she will owe you is your money back.

Make sure love and understanding are the basis of the whole arrangement. That way, if she tells you she is no longer interested after you have committed resources, even though she still does not owe you her life; God will judge her...but and if you did all that when it was clear she didn't fancy you much and/or to put pressure on her parents, especially if she was underage when you started...you will be the one in danger of judgment.
