I’ve been wanting to do a waterside shoot with wings for 2 years. But I kept pushing it because well, wings are expensive and im actually quite scared of water 😂 but I’m soooo glad I finally followed through. Even though it was freezing cold, looking through the photos felt warm 🥹
Growing up, I almost always lived near the coast. And my mom would tell me stories about how the ocean drew in lost souls. How people would walk into the sea, hearing voices of their loved ones. I was told to never go near the ocean after sunset… must be some old legend but I never stopped thinking about why.
There is something so melancholy about being next to water. Maybe it’s because they missed someone? Or maybe there truly are sirens out there, luring lost sailors into the sea. But maybe that’s also why I always pictured angels next to the sea. Darkness only exists because we know light right?
So what do these pictures make you feel? Have you ever heard of the saying i mentioned above?? What photoshoot should I do next?
