Hey, guys. You've been patient. Here's the 411 on those projects for this year I talked about.
Project number 1: The Curious Case of the Davenport Children" On which I am involved as a producer, is in post production and should be coming out sometime this year; more details will come soon.
Project 2: "Veil of Secrets" an fan made audio drama adaptation of the popular Visual Novel from the "Choices: Stories you play" App.
"Veil of Secrets" is about an Investigative Reporter named Brenda Jamison, who travels to the seaside town of Birchport, Massachusetts, to attend the wedding of her best friend from college, Kate O' Malley. However, on the day of the wedding, Kate suddenly is discovered missing; and when the local police won't attempt to find her, Brenda takes it upon herself to find her herself. However, Brenda's determination to find her puts her in the crosshairs of the town itself, and the Sterling family, whose ancestors founded the town, and her investigation could unveil dark secrets about the town that could upend it as a whole.
The audio drama will contain 15 episodes and we will begin the recordings this spring. More details about it's release will be made known once they are confirmed. I will also make a later post about the main and supporting cast once all the roles are filled.
Project 3: "THE BLOOD MOON"
After working with Connor Noble and his production banner, Falling Star Cinemas, on the release of the 2022 remake of "Night of the Living Dead", we are working with him again on his newest film. "The Blood Moon", A vampire horror action thriller about Alex Starr, a rockstar who has spent the past several decades as a vampire; when he comes across Dillion, an emo teenager, who attends one of his band performances one night, the two form a connection. Only one problem: Dillion is not the only one after Alex. In fact, he's the sole target of Agnis, a 20 something female vampire, who has her own sights on him, hoping to recruit him for her plan; a plan that includes, of all things, the end of the world.
We have much of the main and supporting cast locked in and are currently raising money for the budget. I will put in the link for the indiegogo campaign down below. (Please give what you can, please) We plan to film in the spring and summer of this year.
And last but not least: My next directorial effort: "THE SUBURBS" is currently in development.
Synopsis: several families in a suburban cul-de-sac in Indianapolis are excited for a new family who moves into a recently vacated house in their neighborhood. However, upon realizing that the family in question is a single man; they start to become suspicious about him, despite his family friendly attitude, and believe that he harbors suspicious secrets.
I plan to start production on the film in late 2023. And spend the time in between then and now, raising the budget, cast the film, and location scouting. Will post more details when they are available.
