Tomorrow night, Hood College Broadcasting and the Political Science Department will be partnering up to Live Stream election results from the HCB Broadcast Studio. Students from Carin Robinson's Campaigns and Elections class will get behind the anchor desk and call election results from local, state and national races. Students in my VMP I-III classes will be working the control room. You can watch the stream you our YouTube Studio Channel at Hood Broadcast Network (or scan the QR code on the attached flyer) starting at 8:30 or come up to 3rd floor Rosenstock and be part of the live watch party from the Multi-Media Suite lounge. Late night food and snacks will be on hand. Nd you might even be interviewed by and HCB Field Reporter.

Some advise for young photographers, videographers, graphic artist, or any other independent visual creators out there, do not give your work away for free or for exposure. You are worth more than that. Your work, talent, dedication and time deserve more than a photo credit or acknowledgement in a publication. None of that pays the bills. You deserve to be compensated for your talents.
