We are thrilled to introduce Dominique Logan as the newest member of the Journey Resource Project team!

A proud resident of Hartville, Dominique is not only deeply rooted in our community but also an active member dedicated to enhancing the lives of those around her. With a wealth of experience in event planning and a passion for community engagement, Dominique will be spearheading our events and community engagement activities helping us create unforgettable experiences that align with our mission.

Dominique brings a unique blend of creativity, organization, and a deep commitment to our cause. We are confident that her vision and expertise will elevate our community center in Hartville to new heights and further our mission of supporting our community.

80% of foster families quit within the first year with the majority of those families quitting due to lack of support.

Not everyone is called to be a foster parent, and that’s ok! Some are better suited to support the foster families in the trenches around them. There are so many needs when it comes to the world of foster care, kinship, and adoption.

Our system is overloaded and without helping hands, the families who are licensed will quickly burn out.

If you feel led to make an impact in the world of foster care but don’t necessarily feel called to get licensed as a foster parent, please reach out. We’d love to learn more about you and your skills to suggest where your gifts and talents could be used best!

To all Village of Hartville residents,

As you may be aware, the Village of Hartville participates in a natural gas aggregation program. Village Council has made the decision to change our natural gas aggregation representative in order to better serve the Village.

To reduce confusion and increase the efficiency of the natural gas aggregation program, the Village of Hartville will coordinate the timing of both our natural gas and electric aggregation so that they are both renewed or bid by September 3, 2024. This will result in a reversion of natural gas billing rates to a variable rate for a period of approximately six months (approximately April-September of 2024).

It is important to remember that the Village of Hartville aggregation program is still in place, however rates will be variable during this transition period. Village of Hartville residents can still choose their own natural gas and electric suppliers by comparing rates available using an apples to apples comparison tool located online at www.energychoice.ohio.gov.
