Hi everyone! I got a few new friends this week and wanted to just share alittle about myself.

I am Hailey a 27 year old SAHM, content creator, and small business owner. I have 2 beautiful daughters Henley & Ellison. I have been married to my wonderful husband Jason for 6 years and we’ve been together for almost 9. We also have 5 Angel babies one being our son Dominic that I lost at 14 weeks into pregnancy.

My favorite things to do is spend time with my little family, play video games, read, and work on my business.

It is birth trauma awareness week: if you aren’t interested in hearing about the trauma quit reading now.

My first birth with my daughter Henley was an induction due to gestational hypertension, after 29 hours I was throwing up and had a bad fever with failure to progress. We decided to go do a c-section at that point. In the OR I was still throwing up and ultimately I had to be put under because I could feel them during the pinch test. This resulted in Jason not being able to be in the OR. I did not get to meet Henley until she was over an hour old, I was afraid to hold her after being awoken from surgery. I was told I almost needed a blood transfusion as I did lose a lot of blood in the OR. This was a terrifying experience and I thought going into having my second child doing a VBAC or planned c-section would prevent a lot of this…..

Well fast forward 2 years 5 months later when I go to have my second daughter Ellison. I was 40 weeks 3 days and thought I was in labor (apparently still was only early and it stopped a few hours after getting to the hospital) I was admitted though as they needed to monitor my blood pressure as it was elevated. The doctor let me decide if I wanted a c section that day or go home and hope to labor before my scheduled in 4 days. With the blood pressure being slightly elevated and me being super uncomfortable at this point in pregnancy I opted for a more laid back scheduled c section.

I went to the OR and all was good I didn’t feel them pinching me and Jason got to come in. I was pretty scared knowing I was being cut open, and just felt slight pressures and it was not bad at all. When Ellison came out she wasn’t really crying so she wasn’t placed on my chest. She was briefly shown to me and taken away. I kept asking Jason if she was okay, because again she wasn’t crying and that was a very terrifying moment. Eventually after what felt like HOURS Ellison was crying and all was good.

They brought me back to L&D and I was so excited to hold my baby. I started nursing her and I felt a gush of blood come out of me. I told the nurses they said it was normal post birth. Well they changed me 2 times in that room and after I was sent to Mama & Baby unit. Over there I had another gush and again was told it was normal. Then I was feeding Ellison about 4/5 hours post birth and I screamed at Jason to take her out of my arms and I was in a ton of pain. He went to tell the nurses in the hall, but I was screaming HELP anyways. They looked under my blanket and ran to get help and the hemmorhage cart.

My doctor was in another surgery so the resident had to come in and manually remove my clots. I was screaming, I never felt this kind of pain in my life. I was screaming at the doctor calling her every cuss name in the book. Eventually it was done and they were putting in another IV as I needed a blood transfusion. I ended up needing 3 bags of blood during my stay. This unfortunately was not where my postpartum issues came to end, 2.5 weeks postpartum I woke up with a bad headache and just felt like crap. I took my blood pressure and it was extremely elevated (I don’t remember what it was now), but I ended up needing to go to the hospital and was admitted to the ICU for postpartum preeclampsia. I had to spend an overnight there luckily I fought so hard and my baby was able to stay with me too.

I wish I could have had 1 birth experience go right, I really wanted 3/4 kids and I still might have a 3rd, but idk because of everything that had happened. Just know birth trauma is real and it is scary.

Hey everyone very exciting news I’m starting my own boutique and it is opening this Friday at 3pm EST!

I’ve been working on this for quite a bit now and I’m so excited, but would also be lying if I wasn’t nervous.

Inventory may be limited and we may not have every size available in the beginning since we are just starting out. If you see any items you like and want me to check if I can get it to you in your size I will always try my best 💗
