Ted's a great guy. His wife & 3 kids are nicer than nice. His work at Abel Noser is unsung, but we sing his praise re Beer Culture, AKA the Great Gotham Beer Salon. How many salons did France have in the day? I say Ted & partner open beer salons in every city, ten in Gotham- but you didn't hear it from me. And he grows apples in NH, so call Ted the founding father of beer salons, the Johnny Appleseed of NH orchards. He loves both.

Brandi saw long ago that coping with child abuse issues in the adult is very good, but healing and steering them close to the occurence--in the child--is even better. My pal Daughn works there and pulled me to Brandi,Dragonfly & child advocacy. I used to fear a dragonfly---but now I see the cool appeal.

Joe Trull made good. In Belton, SC, among other places. New Orleans, for example. Belton, though, is home to Grits and Groceries. They're probably good at lots, but I'll bet MONEY they have the best corn bread in the state! Why do I think so? Well, he grew up in the Jones-Bakery family in Winston-Salem and he has 'cornbread' in his handle, so there's a cool cockiness---I gotta get there quick (near 85 in SC).

A trip to Cincinnati changed Wes' life. He gave up the plow, flew thru NC State all the way to Moravian Open Door in NY. That's where I meet Wes and Jayne Davis, who flew away from MOD & me to serve PenderCounty. God's country and Davis' county..thanks Wes & Jayne and growing family.

Seena doesn't know this: her name is intoxicating- like Dreema-Dreem. But names are cheap: her bright, empathetic CARE is the door-opener and she has been opening doors since NY Rescue Mission in '12 and her work on a farm in Eugene,OR, one year out of NYU. Joking about the farm--not joking about Eugene, which is lovely this time of year. She likes reporting--and the people love her, but she has fantastic anchor eye-brows -- don't bet against her as a network anchor in due course. Anywho- Seena walks the walk and talks the talk at Nashville's best 'NewsChannel5'.

Ever since he was four and saw a Roman candle blow up in his brother's face on July 4 (his bro is OK, btw) Carl has been a troubadour for truth in Tribeca, i.e. rather than report truth bruskly Carl leans in, an independent but empathetic observer, like he's one of the crowd. Tribeca-- and the NY Rescue Mission-- have been richly blessed by his inspiring integrity. Cool.

Peter Wilkinson Thiele has had a special calling since he was 4 years old: record & project into the greater community.It started with the Christopher & Peter Show---featuring Christopher, a canary. WMCA in NYC was a big recipient of Peter's labors....and NY Rescue Mission's homeless were the biggest beneficiaries of all. Joplin, enjoy Peter while you have him.
