Don't necessarily agree with the entire rant, but he does make a few interesting points:
"In 2021, if you're watching a movie and can't figure out who the bad guy is- it's probably you"
"Hollywood used to know how to make a movie that was about something, a movie for adults that was also entertaining and not just depressing."
And, "it's such an odd psychological quirk... why do so many [people] have this seeming desire to be sad- could it be because being sad allows you to feel like you're doing something about a problem, without actually having to do anything."
Finally, "if your movie is so woke, why am I falling asleep?"
Ouch.

All the burgeoning young screenplay writers collectively quivered after reading this and furiously began scribbling their dystopian sci-fi versions of East and West Egg (with aliens, of course), penning an all POC version with non-binary gender-fluid friendly plot lines, and perhaps the most obvious adaptation, given the current entertainment zeitgeist: Nick, Jay and Daisy vs the Zombie Apocalypse!

And I would watch all three... as long as Leo DiC was in them.

Pretty decent show on HBOMax, aside from the overly used colloquial terminology: "sticky" "onion" "salt" "molasses" "coolie" "bulls" and my personal favorite- "duck" (Chinese slang for white people) which is hilarious because Chinese restaurants in the U.S. have been serving 'duck sauce' to white folks for decades (there are no little packets of sweet orange goo called "duck sauce" in Chinese restaurants... in China). Now that's funny right there.

My biggest concern with Spotify (and streaming services in general) was the lack of niche songs/artists and underground remixes... Did you know you can upload your personal library to Spotify and add them to playlists already created with the streaming service's songs?! Me neither, but now I do.
