The border area bordering Germany. The towns of Strasbourg and Colmar are charming with unique architectural styles mixed between Germany and France impressing visitors. The houses are painted framed wooden frames, the churches of medieval Gothic architecture are still intact. The suburbs are beautiful villages surrounding the Rhine valleys, green hills especially including Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, and Eguisheim, which are known as the most beautiful villages in France.
