Well, it's been a challenging decision but due to the difficulty in finding and scheduling new guests, as well as the demands of schedule and finances I have decided to longer pursue recording new episodes of the podcast. We may come back after a long break with fresh ideas, or we may just say that the show is what it has been. Thank you to all of the guests and especially to anyone who has listened. I've really enjoyed doing the show.

On today's podcast I was able to welcome Chicago area nurse and Woodworker Hadeel Khater from Four Rivers Studio. It was really lovely talking to Hadeel, especially about something that I myself am so passionate about. I loved hearing about her journey and her process in creating her amazing projects. I also loved finding out that, in the end, despite how many "outward" appearances we may have appeared to have, once we started to actually talk shop, I discovered that we had so many identical experiences and motivations. Our mutual love of the hobby was a simple common ground over which we could quickly and easily relate, ruminate, and share our passion.

On this episode of the N+1 Podcast, I talk with local Dungeons and Dragons DM (Dungeon Master) Schyler Heddings about D&D. We had a great discussion about how he’s played D&D his whole life and why. We talked about how he ended up being the “forever DM” and what drivea him to keep doing it. We talked about some of the crazy things he’s presided over, like a person who didn’t realize the horse he was riding was a resurected Paladin, or the time a Gnomish Rogue got to fulfill his lifelong dream of being fired from a ballista, and that was just the beginning of the shenanigans.
