This is SO SAD! Not to mention the FARMERS are so far in the BEHIND THE SCENES, that they have been OVERLOOKED in the PRAISE and APPRECIATION going out to all the ESSENTIAL WORKERS still working. Not to mention, 365 days a year they go overlooked and unappreciated BUT they are the number ONE ESSENTIAL WORKERS that keep us alive!

Thousands of acres of fruits and vegetables grown in Florida are being plowed over or left to rot because farmers can't sell to restaurants, theme parks or schools nationwide that have closed because of the coronavirus.

I live in a farming community in Georgia. While I am ecstatic that CASHIERS, WAITRESSES, JANITORS, NURSES, TRUCKERS, ETC and so many hard working UNDERPAID people are FINALLY being appreciated, I want to say THANK YOU to the FARMERS who are the BEHIND THE SCENES hard working men and woman who PROVIDE us with all the meat and vegetables that are so much needed during this pandemic. This is such BS. I just watched the speech live. The MAJORITY of Americans eligible for stimulus checks WILL get them in TWO WEEKS. Of course there were many special cases that MAY take longer, however they totally committed to NO LESS THAN TWO WEEKS for Americans who HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT already set up and are already get Social Security or filed taxes. There TITLE IS VERY MISLEADING!

This time frame is longer than the estimate that Treasury Secretary Mnuchin gave when he negotiated the program for cash payments with congressional leaders.
