Hey Tradies, we need your support and help.
I'm documentary filmmaker Jamie Gray and this is the GoFundMe video for the Matt Davies "Waves of Life" Documentary.
We are asking for help to raise funds to create this inspired story of the ongoing recovery of big-wave foilboarder and residential builder/carpenter Matt Davies. Who only knows one way to overcome his battle with depression, drug addiction and at one stage suicidal tendencies and that is head-on, at 200%.
While Matt realises there is no quick fix with this type of recovery, he is showing amazing resilience, vulnerability, strength and integrity to share his personal experience and journey over this pivotal time in his life. With the hope that this film may inspire others to make the positive changes in their own life that they have been looking for.
Now 6-12 months into his recovery Matt is in preparation for his 2x world record attempts.
