On this episode of the Salty Hunter Podcast, I sit down with John from . Sagebrush started in Dillon, MT and made its way up to Kake, Alaska where the original owners said that they wanted to move somewhere that didn't have a stop light. John bought the business and has taken over all operations for the company. He is continuing to hand-sew and handcraft dry bags that will last you a lifetime. John goes into the history of the company, how the bags are made, and explains how radiofrequency welding works.
These bags are tough as hell and if you manage to break one these guys will repair it for you. It's my personal philosophy to buy once, then cry once, so I will be getting one of their dry bags in the very near future.
I enjoyed the hell out of this conversation and I'm sure you will too.

This episode of the we have Aaron Stacy of on for round 3. Aaron is gracious enough to come on the show and pass along some more of his wisdom. We talk about gear, time management, diet, cross-training and other aspects of being an endurance athlete; like how important it is to have your family in your corner supporting what you do.

We also talk about a fundraiser that he is helping with. Aaron is running the Pine to Palm 100 Mile Endurance Run and will be running for Wild Souls Ranch, located just outside of his hometown. Wild Souls Ranch is dedicated to helping at-risk youth; showing them their full potential through hard work, working with their hands, maintaining a farm, learning to communicate, and discovering strength in themselves. Consider donating, all of the money goes to a scholarship fund for these kids. They have a goal of $3,000 and they are on their way to making it happen. Be a part of the solution.
