In this episode of Brewmashers' "Beer Time," Josh and Jason take you on a journey, tasting not just two amazing beers from Calvert and Duclaw but also a great liquor made by the fantastic Maryland distillery, Tenth Ward. Calvert Brewing Company has been making a name for itself throughout Maryland with their quality beers, and this time the guys are featuring Calvert's "I Just Crush A Lot," a tart ale with blackberry and plum notes. They also dipped into Josh's private stash to sample Duclaw's Retribution American imperial stout from 2017 that was aged in bourbon barrels before it was bottled. Yeah, it's as good as it sounds! Finally, the guys branched out a little, learning how to make a simple cocktail from absinthe that was made by Tenth Ward Distilling out of Frederick, Md. Great drinks and an amazing time. Cheers!

After a month off, Brewmashers are back with an all-new, super-high-quality "Beer Time" beer tasting video, this time at Checkerspot Brewing in Baltimore, which is owned and operated by the fabulous, multi-hat-wearing Judy Neff. Settle in for a peek at her incredible beers, like her Saison De Fleur that's brewed with sumac, her delicious Daydream American lager, her Juniperus IPA brewed with juniper berries (think gin), and her Keeper Stout that's filtered through Maryland blue crab shells. We only have one word to describe her brews: Amazing! While we were there, we got to check out their annual Baltimore Beer Babes calendar shoot, which raises money for Autism awareness. The final episode for Brewmashers Season One is here, and, boy howdy, is it a doozy! This week, Brewmashers Josh and Jason are joined by ranger Mitch from Colonial Liquors in La Plata, Md. to try for the first time ever the Filipino delicacy known as "balut." Made locally, this unusual fare consists of a 10-16 week old duck chick that has been boiled in a savory broth. You simply crack the shell like a hardboiled egg and toss back the surprise inside! Will they chicken out? Watch the video to find!

In this episode of Brewmashers, Josh and Jason take a recipe challenge, trying four creations concocted by Producer Chris. The four seriously questionable consumables are Vienna Sausage Mini Superdogs, Tuna Cheese Macaroni Loaf, Ham and Banana Hollandaise, and, last but by no means least, Bologna Cake. The catch is, only three of the recipes are real , straight out of old recipe books and off the Internet, while the fourth one is a fake. Watch and see for yourself if you can guess the correct answer before the guys do, or you can just, you know, cheat and check them out in the Shoutouts below.

Take three craft beers and three similar beers from some of the biggest brewers in the world. Then take two friends, set them up in a blind taste test, and see if they can tell the difference. You'd be surprised just how tough this actually is. In this week's Brewmashers Side Quest, Josh and Jason put their palettes to the test to see if they can tell the difference between craft beers and some very popular non-craft brands.
