IOU music officially launched 1 year today and what a year it’s been!
In those 365 days I’ve been fortunate enough to have created just under 200 jingles for podcasts, web series, vlogs, campaigns, small businesses, birthday’s, websites, events and more!
I thought i’d be completely lost during lockdown with my livelihood and income gone but I found my love for music producing again and here we are!
IOU has settled down a bit due to normal work life finally resuming but I’m still very much here and working on jingles weekly if not daily. The website is sadly no more but I’m sourcing other means to reach even more people for all their music needs.
A huge thank you to all my supporters, especially to those who have used my services over this past year.
On screen is just a small collection of people and businesses I’ve had the joy and Privilege of working with and long May it continue!
Here’s to another year, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you all ❤️ 🎶 🎙 🎧

IOU MUSIC IS BACK!!
After a relaxing mental break and wonderful mini holiday I'm back in full swing, creating Jingles and short songs for any business or occasions. I've been working behind the scenes with a few customers and we already have a few completed Jingles so we start as we mean to go on!

On a sadder note, IOU music will unfortunately no longer be offering services via the platform Fiverr. Fiverr took it upon themselves to temporarily disable my account 2 months ago and have now come to the decision to permanently delete my profile. Without going into too much detail, I shared my website and other IOU music socials with some customers in the hopes of some good reviews and recommendations. This was unknowingly to me, against Fiverr's terms and conditions. I apologised and made them aware this wouldn't happen again but the only reply I received from the Fiverr team was 'it's out of our hands'. I was expecting a slap on the wrist or a warning but never did I think that my profile would vanish from their platform entirely as if I never existed. This comes as a massive blow to IOU because around 80% of my business came from Fiverr and all communication I had with previous customers is now gone , as is the lovely reviews and kind words they left me. It's going to be incredibly hard to find new clients from all walks of life but I have several avenues I wish to explore and I'm not giving up.
I won't discourage any of my free lancer friends from using Fiverr because it is a wonderful platform, that will get you seen and IOU wouldn't be what it is today without it. I will say however, be prepared to lose a heavy commission on all your work and you'll receive little to no support if you run into any issues. Unfortunately in the eyes of Fiverr, you are disposable.
I'll be using this experience as a positive and a new chapter for bigger and better things. Let's create some music!

After today I’ll be taking a short break to focus on myself and other projects.
To create you need to be in the right head space and I’ve recently learned how important it is to give yourself some time off.
I want to be the best version of me I can be so that when I come back, the jingles will be better than ever... get ready! 🎶 🌼💚

I love writing personalised jingles for special events and this one was particularly important because I wrote it for my Grandad (otherwise known as Gindad.)
Yesterday he celebrated his 90th birthday so I wanted to create something extra special!
Growing up he would always sing the song ‘we’re in the army now’ whilst not know any of the words, so I thought recreating this in my own style with some actual lyrics was rather fitting!
