We actually didn't know how we were going to find a cart for the film. We didn't want to "steal" one and we had gone the extra mile and asked a grocery store if we could borrow one. But right when we were working out logistics on how to get it to the location at the right time, we discovered one laying just in the hotel parking lot like a little gift from heaven. It looked like it had been hit by a car and it didn't roll correctly. In the film Ben has to pull it from the front. But, man it really helped him sell himself as homeless crazy guy. Yay for our hero "cart". If they had academy awards for props one could totally go to you!

This film project was special for lots of reasons, but one of them was due to how it is an example of what empowered women can do. The writer and producer/director are a sister power team. Also, our Assistant director and PA/make up artist are a sister power team as well.

Some would think we had planned to get a shot like this, but we didn't. We planned to be in Austin and capture the Austin flar and we did just that. As I was driving up to our location I saw this little corner. It was like a gift. Some of the sayings aligned really well with our message, and a key point in our story was where Thomas and Louise first meet. We want to show how even some of what first seems inconsequential, can become a turning point in our lives.
