Doubt will kill any dream if you don’t believe in yourself. So this past weekend I had the opportunity to showcase one of my curated looks. I made the skirt & tote bag and styled it with second-hand accessories which is the essence of my brand. Both my husband and mom told me the look was good and I would do well. I believed them but I didn’t believe in myself. For some reason I had doubt on my mind that no one would want my personal style/ custom made look. I just received feedback it went really well and someone won my auction item. I even received an invitation to return next year and feature another design.

This look was curated for a mature, modest audience and I couldn’t be more proud of myself.

Thanks to those who always believe in me when I don’t believe in myself.

Thank you to everyone who called or texted me! Today is a new day and life is a journey. However, what makes it special is pushing through each day no matter what. Having supportive family and friends really truly makes a difference.

I’m going to share a story about myself and the reason I love fashion so much. Hopefully I can help someone feel better about themselves. My entire life I’ve been a small/slim person and growing up I really never spoke up for myself. People would make fun of me and bully me. After high school I started to  pursue my love of fashion and style. I realized that style can boost your confidence and how you dress can be a reflection of how you feel.

Sometimes people don’t realize that you wear certain colors or you throw on sweatpants not because you want to but because of how they make you feel when you put them on. Fashion and style plays a big role in our lives but sometimes we don’t see how it does.

This weekend I’m hosting a free personal style workshop and I would love to invite you to it. Learn more about your own personal style & how it can boost your confidence.

My mission, vision and purpose as a fashion designer, stylist & creator is to share my passion and help one person at a time boost their confidence.
