Time passes, life moves, questions abound, and some people remain on the way asking the question of work, but there is one question that remains with time, and that is the question of identity in a very changing world.
The great American writer Huntington writes his dangerous book, Who Are We? And he answers, but the answer is not as easy as some think, and I, in turn, ask, Who are we? We are in the African continent, peoples and states, and in the Arab countries there are populations and regimes, and in the Muslim world there are human beings and authorities. Are we part of history? Or are we still part of the modern reality?
who are we ? A broad question, and few people think about it, and the move towards the future is determined by the correct answer. Who are we intellectually and culturally? Who are we civilly and religiously? Who are we politically and socially? Who are we in the era of globalization? In the time of open space? Who are we in the era of the strong and the weak? Who are we in the great time of China?
Where are we going? Are we in the ship that sails towards the future? Or are we in a ship that got lost and lost, and does not know the right direction? Here, or there, the answer will be, and the true thinker looks for these questions, and not for the labyrinths and daily battles.
A true intellectual does not live only with diaries, and a true thinker does not live only with questions from the street, because he is not a journalist. He wants an event that causes a stir, while the thinker is searching for the meaning of the event. Why did what happened?
Simple people listen to journalists, average people look for the words of intellectuals, while adults search for the words of thinkers. The thinker feeds the mind with ideas of heavy weight, the intellectual feeds the minds with information of great weight, and journalists give people fresh and quick information, and for this we will always need a quality reading of life.
The intellectual in our country lives in a journalistic spirit, and our thinker lives in an informational spirit. Hence, we find that people live in the stage of (scarcity) in the world of ideas, and the stage of (abundance) in the world of events.
We find tribal meetings, religious meetings, a third political, a national fourth, a fifth regional, a sixth global, successive wars, continuous space conquest, continuous updating of the world of technology, and all of that, and others, and behind it there is a lot of information, we have (abundance) in the world of events, But the problem is, we do not have an (abundance) in the world of ideas. Rather, we live in a world that complains of a scarcity of ideas.
Every morning you read, hear, or watch various processes, but you rarely find a new idea in the world of readings, or capture a strong vision in the world of perceptions. Our region suffers from aging in this world, but rather lives in the world of intellectual stillness.
It is not reasonable to live forever as we live today, to relate to the world of events without understanding who makes the world of events? How is it manufactured? What are the ideas that formulate the worlds of events? Indeed, time passes, and life moves, but the person of our area has not changed for a hundred years, and the reason is intellectual stillness, and silence is a real sign of death, and from here I think that our human being needs a violent shock to wake up from his deep intellectual slumber, and to live in moments of thought, Not in moments of excitement.
