‘Tis the season finale, so our now traditional Pod Quiz is back with a festive twist!🎄

Once again, we’ve spared all expense to make fancy dress costumes (this time as the Wet Bandits themselves, Harry and Marv) for our end-of-season Christmas party.

Join us for a special episode stuffed with the best bits from the past 10 weeks as Laura get’s grilled on what she remembers about the guests, and some bonus ‘Home Alone’ trivia for good measure.

Spoiler: she’s more forgetful than Kevin’s mum.

So, grab a beverage and fill yourself with holiday spirit (we do, so you won’t be alone), because just like the socks you’re gonna get from your nan, we’re wrapped.

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.

Paws your busy day to take a tour of the Home for Retired Bears from ‘Paddington in Peru.’

Work your way past Aunt Lucy’s hut and through to the secret room at the end to discover some graphics made by our very own Laura Whitehouse.

If, like Mrs Bird, you suspect something is amiss with this place, that’s because it was actually built on a farm in rural England, along with most of the other sets in the film.

Listen to our chat with Production Designer Andy Kelly on this week’s episode to uncover more secrets from the making-of Paddington’s latest adventure.

Let’s prepare for Paddington! 🐻

Laura has returned from digging in the credits of ‘Paddington in Peru,’ having successfully unearthed the Production Designer, Andy Kelly, and the famous bear’s biggest fans have turned out in force to ask him about the movie.

Standby for cuteness as kids put their questions to Andy, and we find out the answers to very important things like what happened to Paddington’s magical coin, and who is his favourite Paddington baddie?

Andy spills the marmalade on his own adventures designing the film, including trekking into restricted parts of Peru and having to get to know our sandwich-loving friend better than anyone else.

⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️

Andy reveals some of the movie’s secrets in this episode, so make sure you’ve seen it before listening! We don’t want to be on the receiving end of any hard stares.

Joe Barton is the writer and creator of the new Netflix series ‘Black Doves,’ which is out TODAY and stars and in a darkly festive espionage thriller.

Stephen managed to grab a chat with Joe in between his busy schedule to unwrap his latest (mince) spy creation.

In this episode, Joe tells us about the team effort of bringing ‘Black Doves’ from the page to the screen, where he gets his inspiration from, and his advice to aspiring screenwriters on how to get into the industry.

Forget , this is the crossover we’ve all been waiting for… this is .

Laura Croft is back and has dusted off her archaeological past to go digging in the credits once again, but this time she’s heading deep into the Amazon. Unlike our marmalade-loving friend though, she’s not in search of Aunt Lucy, but rather someone of great importance from the crew of ‘Paddington in Peru.’

Her latest field report suggests she’s uncovered something more valuable than El Dorado gold, and she’ll be revealing her findings next week.

Until then, if you have any questions about the making of ‘Paddington in Peru,’ ask them in the comments or send us a DM and we’ll put them to our mystery guest very soon 🍊

We know it’s been a tough year for film crew due to a seemingly never-ending work drought. So, we thought who better to have on than the chair of the to ask whether this is the new normal, or if things can only get better.

Jonathan Green () is a Production Designer with over 35 years experience, and is somewhat of a British institution having designed such iconic quiz shows as, ‘QI,’ ‘Mock the Week,’ ‘The Chase,’ and ‘Have I Got News For You.’

He joins us this week to not only tell us what the BFDG is all about and what they do for film creatives, but also to be quizzed himself on what’s causing the current slump and when he thinks the situation will finally improve (spoiler: it’s good news).

It’s finally happening, we’re actually going to talk about opening credits on 😱

So, if you’re one of the few people who have been sorely disappointed that this podcast isn’t actually about title sequences, today’s your lucky day!

We’re joined in this episode by , Creative Director of , the studio behind some of the most memorable movie and tv show intros, including ‘Panic Room,’ ‘Sonic the Hedgehog,’ and ‘Transformers One.’

William, alongside Senior Creative Producer David Midgen, talks us through the process of making the iconic opening credits for , and how it was more hands-on than you might think. He also gives his honest opinion on the controversial ‘Skip Intro’ button (which is changing the game for title design) and tells us about his dream day on set working with everyone’s favourite fuzzy friends, The Muppets.

Don’t listen with your parents, this week is all about s*x (scene) education.

David Thackeray () was one of the first ever Intimacy Coordinators; a relatively new role in filmmaking introduced to help the cast and crew tackle (whoops) those more delicate moments.

He’s also one of the most in demand, having worked on ‘The Crown,’ ‘Heartstopper,’ and ‘Sex Education.’

In this episode, David tells us what his job actually involves (and more importantly, what it doesn’t), how he gets past the awkwardness, and his techniques for making a film set a more comfortable and supportive place for everyone.

Meanwhile, Laura gives her verdict on the newly-released ‘Paddington in Peru’, and we share some of your guilty pleasures and hidden treasures!

Don’t be shy, educate yourselves via the link in the bio.

“We make sure that everything that we do is grounded in some sort of reality, and then we push it just a little bit beyond that. If you go too far ahead, you’ll lose the audience. You have to find that sweet spot between what is possible today and some far off futuristic vision, and you find somewhere in between that the audience can actually buy into.” - Jeremy Lasky () , Co-Founder of .

Hear how the VFX artists at Perception brought the futuristic technology of Wakanda to life in ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Wakanda Forever,’ as well as many more Marvel movies, on this week’s episode of the podcast.

We’re joined in this episode by not one, but two guests; Jeremy Lasky () and Danny Gonzalez (), Co-Founders of , an Emmy-nominated design and visual effects studio based in New Jersey, USA.

If you’ve ever seen a superhero movie, chances are you’ve seen their work in the interfaces, heads-up-displays and holograms of the MCU. From Tony Stark’s J.A.R.V.I.S. in ‘Iron Man 2,’ to the futuristic lab in ‘Black Panther,’ these guys are in the business of designing screens for the big screen.

Jeremy and Danny tell us what it’s like to work with Marvel, how they use science-fiction to inspire science-fact, and what they think real world AI has in store for the future of filmmaking.
