Stonehenge is the world's most famous structure from the Stone Age, but it is not the only prehistoric survivor you can visit from London
Stonehenge has fascinated people for hundreds of years, and yet there is still so much that we don't know about it. This 50 minute Virtual tour looks at theories of who built Stonehenge, what it was for and who it was built and sets Stonehenge in context with other Prehistoric sites you can visit on a day trip from London. You'll get an email at the end of the talk with an itinerary of sites and museums you can visit yourself.
As well as Stonehenge, Rob will talk about the Swanscombe skull - some of the oldest human remains in Europe, the beautiful location of Kits Coty House, the mysterious Waulud's Bank , early industry at Grime's Graves and Oldbury rock shelters and many more evocative locations.
Rob has been visiting Stonehenge since he was a boy and has previously led tours of Stonehenge for the company City Wonders.
