Okay so for today's post I wanted to do something a little bit different. I wanted to show you a simple way to decorate your home using AI. So for all of these images, I used mid-journey, however you can totally use it with any AI that would allow you to use an image and a text prompt.
So the first image is a pretty image so that y'all don't scroll on by, considering the second image is my actual front porch. 😬 Absolutely none of these photos are edited because I think y'all will get the idea, and I'm not trying to make art here LOL
So what I do, is I feed my front porch image in with an image I found off a Pinterest or the internet and either blend the two using the /blend command, or I will use my front porch image and multiple images in a text prompt and describe to the AI what I want to see. The results are the following images up to number nine. Including the fun one where the door opens to the outside 😯😂
Are these images 100% practical? No. Do these images look exactly like my front porch? No. However, I can grab ideas that I like and incorporate them in and can use them as a jumping off point for inspiration.
So the first image I actually really like the best. Let's say I really like the light. I'll just take the image and load up Google Lens which is on my phone, and highlight the portion of the photo that I want to see and then it will find me similar objects that are available for purchase. My favorite one is the light fixture that is $1015.00. I've got excellent taste. 👍 😂 I am not sure if all phones have Google Lens I do have a Google pixel phone. I am going to assume though that IOS and Android phones all have something similar on them.
Anyway if you made it this far thanks for sticking with me. I hope this made sense. I like using this method when I'm having a hard time visualizing a photo from the internet and putting it into my actual room. I used this method for my dining room and was able to redecorate the top of my antique buffet this way. If you would like to see pictures of that I'm happy to post them. (Looks a hell of a lot better than my front porch rn)I hope it helps someone! ❤️❤️❤️
