Sharing this fun DIY Safari theme which was done for my friend’s son first birthday few years back!!

1. We attached 2 feet x 2 feet grass panels with zip ties to make it 8 x 8 foot backdrop.

2. The trees in the backdrop are made of poster board from , i got white poster board and spray painted them(tip: you can get colored poster boards)

3. Letters for name are from

4. Lion king cake stand’s and animals are handmade.

5. Cake table cloth is from amazon.

I always used to used to wonder 💭 how to make fresh leaf parrot in USA as mango leafs 🍃 are not easily available.

Few days back i got a flower bouquet and in that i saw Ruscus stems, then i got the idea to try and make parrot with Ruscus leafs.! ( this leafs are available every where in USA and not too pricey)

Though it is not 100% similar to mango leaf parrot i was happy with the outcome!!

DIY Floating candle table centerpiece!!

Things to note:
1. Take some water beads and add them to vase.
2. In between water beads add pearls or beads.
3. Add water to vase.

The water beads will disappear once you add the water to vase and creates floating effect.

House warming or Griha Pravesh is of utmost significance when moving into a new home. The ancient Indian science of architecture Vastu Shastra regards Griha Pravesh as a prominent step in the first entry to a newly constructed house. It is believed that the house warming ceremony is an auspicious moment which brings peace and prosperity into the new home. The ceremony is also conducted to ward off evil or negative energies and to purify the living space.

The main doorway should be decorated with garland or toran made from flowers and mango leaves and auspicious symbols like rangoli, sw****ka and Lakshmi feet are to be drawn on the threshold to invite the goddess of fortune.

DIY horses for Carousel theme decor. The horses in the picture are made out of wood, I used a saw to cut them out of wood and hand painted them.

To hang these horses I used PVC pipes, I wrapped the pvc pipes using a gold ribbon and made a small hole in the top of the pipe and tied them to backdrop support rod to keep them in place.
