I know its a little late, but I am so excited to be sharing with you a message about mental health from Dr. Teresa Garner a professor of mine from Olivet who joined us remotely from her house (sorry about the quality of sound). The book she mentions is called "Mental Health and the Church" and there is a copy of it in the church library.
Join Dr. Teresa Garner, a former professor at Olivet Nazarene University whose doctorate is in understanding the brain and its development and how it connects to our faith, as she helps give us a glimpse into how understanding mental health can help us be more inclusive and Christ-like using primarily the book "Mental Health and the Church".
Hello everyone, so I got an update from our guest speaker who is going to be joining us for our Mental Health Topic. She had a total of 3 emergency eye surgeries. She is recovering from them now, and she will be able to join us on June 10th. From there we will have our podcast back every two weeks with a message of inclusion of June 24th and then into our July topic!!
We are postponing the second episode of our Mental Health Topic due to an emergency surgery our guest speaker had last week. Hopefully she will be able to join us next week.
