Had a great time running the Caving Cow 5k Trail Race that ended up adding some bonus miles. I had originally signed up for the half but real life forced me to drop to the 5k. Beautiful and challenging course. Shoutout to and for putting on this gem of a race.

Think it’s safe to say I have turned the corner on my injury and can get back to it. Multiple runs with zero issues. So glad to have made it through this. Now time to get running.

Great time at the Hoka Demo run put on by at . I tested the Mach 6 and really liked them. Was the first time I have run in Hoka in 10 years and definitely looking at the Mach 6 as my next shoe.

Some things just aren’t meant to be. I put it all out there and yet again was defeated at this course. As much as I like to say I’m coming back, I am done with this distance for a very long time. Was in good spirits and ate well but my feet starting giving me problems and I never could get them right and walked in to the aid station around the cutoff so saw the writing on the wall. Thank you for my crew Garrett and Monica. Thanks to my friends who signed up as well and the biggest thanks goes to Will who stayed with me all the way to end.
