A couple of updates for the podcast and next episode. First off, we wanna apologize for a lack of keeping all you in the loop. Personal lives have been getting in the way for most of us be consist with uploads.

Second, for some listeners on Podbean, episode 7 and 8 will be delayed because of running out of space with the free version. Once we have the consistent money to get a premium membership, those episodes will be up like the rest.

As for said Episode 8, it will be uploaded tomorrow night on Hallow's Eve and to give you guys a little preview on the subject matter.

Tales of mysterious sea serpents and giant unidentified aquatic monsters graced the front pages of newspapers world wide throughout the 1800s, but the practice
began to die down by the early 1900s. So when a story about a massive eel longer than 3 school buses pops up in the mid 1920s, it's unusual to say the least. It may be worth pointing out that prior to the encounter no less than 3 earthquakes had already rocked the New England area that year and some claimed that the creature was forced from its lair by these quakes upheaval of the ocean floor... or perhaps its just ANOTHER story to be added to what we're calling "Sea Serpent Spring".

"The Foam", a steam trawler, is out on a week-long fishing trip just off the shores of Massachusettsin South Channel. The ship is "88 miles southeast... from Boston Light Vessel" (ships used as lighthouses in waters too deep or unsuitable for lighthouses) when ship’s mate Captain JamesDoyle spots something break the surface offthe starboard bow that he at first mistakesfor a submarine. It resembles a colossal eelwith muddy gray skin that is smooth exceptfor behind the head and at the end of the tail, where it sports massive green scales. Some versions of the tale claim it has only 2 fins near the tail, while other versions claim it hasas many as 8 fins on each side! One detail is always consistent, however: the gargantuan
size of the beast! While Doyle estimates it to be 125 feet long, others on deck put it nearer 150 feet! for 20 minutes The crew stares in "open-mouth wonder" as the monster circles the vessel, lashing the water into a mass of foam. Then, Despite its tremendous bulk, itsimply swims away with astonishing speed.

61 years ago today! There may be no tale more tragic or more mysterious in all of cryptozoology than that of the Pensacola Sea Serpent. What would start as fun spring day for a group of 5 friends would end in utter catastrophe with 4 of them either dead or missing. Speculation runs the gamut. Some claim McCleary, the only survivor, made up the story about a sea serpent to deal with his grief and PTSD. Others claim McCleary was just cashing in on the tragic event when he sold his story. Others speculate that perhaps McCleary simply hallucinated the sea serpent as exhaustion and hypothermia set in. Still others claim it was all real. The truth is Edward Brian McCleary, the sole survivor of that tragic event, passed away in 2016 at the age of 70 taking with him any chance of determining exactly what happened that day.

With a land mass about equal in size to the the United States, but with a population less that Texas, Australia is left 95% uninhabited! So it is no wonder that it is a land awash in mystery and legend. Adding to this, is its unique flora and fauna that boasts some of the most unique and perplexing creatures on earth! Australia's cryptids are no exception with Bunyips, Yowies, and of course... the Euroa Beast! Some claiming it was a giant reptile, others claiming it was a giant mammal like a beaver – was the Euroa beast a last remnant of a now extinct semi-aquatic species? OR was it simply a story created to sell newspapers?

The 1970s were awash in cryptid and monster sightings. 1972 brought Missouri MoMo, while 1973 ushered in Illinois' Enfield horror, and 1977 Massachusetts had its own Dover Demon, but these paled in comparison to the Big Bird flap (pun intended) that swept over Texas in 1976! Numerous sightings and encounters spread out over months with a multitude of witnesses make this one of the more credible and fascinating cases in cryptozoology. While descriptions of the creature varied from witness to witness one thing remained consistent. A colossal winged something had invaded the skies of the Lone Star State.

47 years ago today!
While the 2 boys, Masato Kawano and Katsuhiro Yamahata, were the only ones to see the craft's occupants another classmate of theirs, Ichiro Minegishi (8), reported seeing a bright object flying toward the Hinode Housing Estate while he was riding in a car with his parents near the Kōfu Bypass. This was approximately 30 minutes before the boys claimed to have discovered the UFO! The beings would go on to be dubbed the Kofu Fanged Humanoids.
