Today I would like to share with you an exciting talk about how wind energy could solve energy problems around the world. As you know studio one loves to share information that we believe is worth spreading.
I hope you take time to listen to this talk and share it. If you have something positive to share, do send us and email at [email protected]. And if you like what we do here, follow us here and on other media.

Over the last two decades, the wind power industry has grown at a dizzying pace. (Fun fact: a single rotation from one of the world's most powerful wind turbines can generate enough electricity to charge more than 1,400 cell phones.) Building off this exponential growth, Denmark's climate minister D...

Today I would like to encourage you to plant a tree. If you live in Canada, it is winter right now so let this message be for this coming spring. Many years ago, my wife and I went tree planting in Northern British Columbia Canada. We each planted at least 10,000 trees and are proud of our contribution. Trees are an essential part of the fight against climate change, and we should all be proud of at least having planted one tree in our lifetime.
Deforestation is impacting climate change and if we keep cutting down trees and not planting, we are sure to get worse results.
I will share some videos below for you to refresh your knowledge and resolve to act for the sake of our planet. Change happens when we are all aware and when we all act. I hope you enjoy the brief videos and share them as well. And if you like the messages we deliver, please subscribe to our channel and like us on other social media. Until next time, this is Pius Mukose wishing you well. Go out and plant a tree!

I would like to remind you that we started Studio One Global to share information and much more.
Today I would like to share with you how the act of sharing can solve many problems. When we share food, we not only help solve the problem hunger but also that of climate change.
Producing food and throwing it away to maintain prices is not a good practice when millions are starving. In a recent story in Ontario, a farmer who is required to destroy 30,000 litres of milk to help keep prices high went public with his concerns. My question is, can we all find ways to share food rather than throw it away?
Sharing food is also a great way for each of us to contribute to climate change. In her talk, Tessa Clarke stated and I quote “But there's something we're not being told, and it's that 65% of all greenhouse gas emissions are generated as a direct result of household consumption. So that's you. And that's me.” (Clarke, 2022).
Today I ask you to make time to listen to Tessa’s talk and think about what change we can bring about together by sharing.
If you like the message, please don’t forget to share it. And if you like the information we are sharing, subscribe to our YouTube channel and like us on other social media.

Touched by an Icon – Hazel McCallion- Former Mayor of Mississauga

I was fortunate to have worked at the City of Mississauga for seventeen years and most of that time under the leadership of Hazel McCallion as Mayor. I could publish a book about what wonderful things Hazel did for the city, and I am sure I share the same opinion with many who live and work in that great city. However, I just want to briefly share my experience to remember her. Hazel-
• Loved Mississauga and her job so much that she dedicated much of her life to being a model leader
• Believed in possibilities, and opportunities and led a city from being a farm community to a shining metropolitan city-One of Canada’s finest
• Built an excellent culture among employees and encouraged them to find ways to save and work efficiently
• Led and developed a city for decades that was debt free (a pay-as-you-go model). Imagine the savings and rate of progress without financial debt
• Was a shining example of the excellence of women leaders. Supporting her were other excellent women and men who I saw working in harmony to develop the community
• Recognized employees all the way to the lowest level. I am fortunate to have recognition documents that she signed
• Was very accessible and made time and effort to interact with all employees
• Was physically active and skated well past the age of ninety. She inspired me to learn how to skate in my late forty’s
• Was loved by many citizens and was re-elected to office every time until she decided not to run for office. I enjoyed working on the elections during my time at the city.
Hazel’s contribution to humanity is extensive. We are fortunate to have had Hazel as a leader and I hope we get more like her. She passed away at the age of 101and her funeral is today February 14, 2023. She left Mississauga a better place. A true shining star, example, and model for many people to follow.
I am sharing links about Mississauga for you to see and believe. Thanks to the producers.

Welcome to Brantford

We moved to Brantford after researching great places to live in Ontario. More people are moving to Brantford. We made our checklist and wanted a city
• that is small in population (approx. 100,000) and has all that is found in big Cities
• that is welcoming and friendly people
• with no traffic jams
• with fresh air
• with good water
• that is easy to start a business in
• that has modern libraries
• that has good elementary schools and higher learning institutions
• that promotes physical activity
Like any City, there are some challenges such as homelessness, but we found everything on our checklist in Brantford.
If you use the telephone and love ice hockey, then here is something to remember “Brantford is sometimes called The Telephone City because the inventor of the telephone lived in Brantford. Hockey player Wayne Gretzky was born in Brantford.” (Isolated Traveller, 2021)
Brantford is a wonderful place to get involved and share experiences. Yes, sharing is caring and that is great for all of us! Check out the I love Brantford campaign link below.

Why Africa should be on your bucket list

Here are some basic facts about this giant waiting to be discovered and shared. First and foremost, Africa is not a country and there is no such thing as an African language. Africa is diverse in culture and languages. Africa has fifty-four countries, and about 2000 languages, with a total of at least 75 languages spoken by more than one million people. The major groups of African people are:
• Bantu
• Nilotic
• Khoisan

Women’s Labour of Love – A woman changing girls' lives in Kenya

Today, I would like to share a story of change for the better. A story about someone who has motivated girls and women to change. Someone who recognized that the way girls were growing up in her village in Kenya needed to change. Dr. Kakenya Ntaiya is the founder and president of Kakenya's Dream. She has enabled many girls to go to school and achieve their dreams. Through her efforts, the culture of Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM) is also changing. This is truly an inspiring story that is worth spreading.

I believe that one way to bring about change is to learn and acknowledge that the current state of things is wrong. After learning and acknowledging, one is open to listening and then looking for solutions that bring about change and improve lives.
I hope you listen to this story, learn, and become a change agent. And if you like to find more inspiring stories like this one, don’t forget to Subscribe to our YouTube channel and follow us on other media such as Instagram and Twitter.

Bolivia Lifting our communities - Women warriors

Despite all the resources that nature has given us, there are still places and people who must go far and above to provide for their families and their communities. In many places around the world women carry the most burden of feeding their families.

Today we would like to highlight and share Maria’s story. Maria lives in the mountain community in Bolivia. She is one of the few women who drives in a community where driving is supposed to be a man's job. She faces discrimination from the male drivers who feel that she does not belong. She drives under such conditions that may turn the stomachs of even the most accomplished and experienced drivers.

Bolivia has some of the worst roads on the planet due to environmental degradation from mining precious metals and logging. Global warming has affected many communities around the globe, but women warriors continue to provide for their families and communities under difficult conditions selflessly.

In the Bolivian Andes, at the risk of their lives, two women travel some of the most dangerous roads in the country. Maria brings supplies to an isolated vil...

Women’s Labour of Love – The musician

I would like to highlight a musician who is breaking into the Congo music industry. As a lead guitarist and singer, I find her performance excellent. Her name is Sarah Solo.

Women making notable change are all over the world. However, women are still underrepresented. For example, according to unwomen.org, “…data show that women are underrepresented at all levels of decision-making worldwide…” Facts and figures: Women’s leadership and political participation. (2022). Retrieved 21 December 2022, from https://www.unwomen.org/en/what-we-do/leadership-and-political-participation/facts-and-figures.

Growing up in Uganda, I wondered why girls did not go to school or complete high school. Some parents even discouraged girls from earning school education and influenced their daughters to marry and start families. In hindsight that was simply wrong.

My late mother was one of the lucky ones who broke through that ceiling in the 1950’s to become a teacher. I later learned that her parents believed in change. Yes, my grandparents believed their daughter was special and could do anything boys could do. Her parents made a difference in her life and lives of those she touched. I think my life would have been different if my mother were uneducated.

Please take time to watch and listen to Sarah Solo. I am impressed by her accomplishment and believe she deserves recognition.

Welcome to Studio One Global - Your virtual place for SHARING
What is Studio One Global about?
We started studio one to spread our passion for sharing tangible and intangible gifts in the global community. There are enough resources in the world for all of us to share. However, the resources are not equitably distributed. So, we live in a world of extremes. A few people are extremely wealthy while the majority are extremely poor. Some people have plenty to eat while others starve due to environmental factors such as climate change. Some people live in peaceful places while others live in conflict places.
Why is Studio One Global on this journey?
We are on this journey to share
• Stories
• Experiences
• Information
• Knowledge
• Dreams
• Wealth
• News
• Travel/Adventure
• Entertainment(Music, games and more)
• Food (Recipes, shows, and more) and more
We believe that sharing resources is the solution to living happily together.
We value the quality of our content and will avoid content that misinforms, misleads, or that we deem inappropriate on our channel.
We invite you to come on this journey with us by sharing your story with us.
We are excited about this and believe together we can make the world a better place for us and for generations to come.
Let us make the Globe a shared home that we all love to live in. Join us today!
