FFCCCII inaugurates new building in Comon High School
COMON, TABACO CITY - The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) has inaugurated a one-story two-classroom building in Comon High School through a turnover ceremony held last April 7, 2022, as part of their Operation Barrio Schools.
The said operation is FFCCCII's pledge to address classroom shortages across Tabaco City which Barangay Comon was chosen to be one of the recipients.
FFCCCII representative Abraham Bigcas led the ribbon-cutting along with Domingo Seth Botalon (Comon High School Principal), Porferio Bemida (Barangay Captain), Maria Vivien Torrecampo (Senior Education Supervisor for Social Mobilization and Networking), Juan Botilo (School Governing Council President), Salve Beren (General Parents and Teachers Association Vice-President, Christelyn Competente (Comon High School Faculty President), and Christine Rozel Navarro (Supreme Student Government President).
Prior to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Rev. Father Clifford Barrios officiated the Holy Mass for thanksgiving and the blessing of the newly constructed building. Gratitude was expressed by the faculty members of Comon High School to the benefactors as the new building will be of great help in the implementation of Blended Learning Modality.
“Sa ngaran kan Comon High School asin kan bilog na komunidad kan Comon, kami minapaabot ki labing pasasalamat sa Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce sa pagtao samo kang building na ini.Sakto ini lalo pa ngonyan na kami nakapasa sa validation para sa Blended Learning na samong pupunan ngonyan na Fourth Quarter kang school year na ini 2021-2022,” (On behalf of CHS and the whole community of Comon, we are very thankful to the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. for giving us this building. This is very timely since we have just passed the validation for the conduct of the Blended learning for the fourth quarter of this school year) said, School Principal, Mr. Domingo Seth Botalon.
The new facility will be used by students from different year levels as scheduled by the school administration. Moreover, CHS continuously collaborates with stakeholders to deliver quality services and perform its mandates.
