Throwback to last year. Enjoying a great home cooked steak dinner paired with wine. Looking forward to the next shipment and cooking this weekend.

Saturday night Margaritas! Thanks in part to and for making great products to keep us ice cold.
Who could use a Pisco Party this week? I know I could.
2 oz Pisco
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1 egg white
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Add pisco, lime juice, simple syrup and egg white to a shaker and shake till frothy.
Add ice and shake till chilled, strain and serve immediately, garnish with Angostura Bitters.

Hey Everyone! I wanted to bring you all up to speed on my hiatus from recipes over the past couple months.
We recently moved from Mountain View, CA to Austin, TX and Just bought a house!
We are starting to branch out and find some new and amazing things in Austin. We actually celebrated the closing of our house with this bottle of Goldrush cider from . Special thanks to our new friend Zack for introducing us!

Here's a special drink recipe you'll want to try out. Old Fashioned with Elijah Craig Bourbon
2 oz Elijah Craig Bourbon
1/2 tsp dark brown sugar
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
1/4 oz water
Long thin peel of a Orange
Muddle the brown sugar in the Angostura Bitters and water in a lowball (old fashioned) glass till fully dissolved. Add one large ice cube and pour the bourbon over the top of the cube. Garnish with the long thin peel of orange.
Serve and Enjoy!

A bit delayed, but as promised here's my edge on a Watermelon Margarita. Happy belated 4th of July, here's the perfect refreshing frozen drink.
Watermelon Basil Margarita
2 1/2 cups frozen watermelon
6 oz Camarena Silver Tequila
2 oz lime juice
5 large leaves of fresh basil
Salt (for rim of glass)
1 wheel of lime to garnish
1 Small leaf of basil to garnish
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend till smooth. Serve immediately in a salt rimmed glass garnish with the wheel of lime, basil leaf and enjoy!

Just in time for tequila Tuesday! I have a Yuzu Jalapeño Margarita!
As some of you may know, I was taking some suggestions on what my next drink post would be, and this is it! This one is extra special because it is also a birthday present for one of my followers (you know who you are!) Happy birthday!
1/8 oz Yuzu
1/8 oz ponzu
2 wheels jalapeño muddled
1.5 oz lime juice
1 oz honey syrup
3oz Camarena Silver Tequila
Coat rim of the glass with salt.
Measure out Yuzu juice and ponzu and pour into a shaker, muddle the jalapeño wheels in the shaker, add ice, lime juice, honey syrup and Camarena Silver Tequila and shake till well chilled.
Pour through strainer to remove jalapeño seeds, garnish with fresh jalapeño slices.

This one has Cabbage, Spinach, Brown Mushrooms, Tokyo Turnips, Jalapeños, Cilantro and picked cucumbers with somen noodles with a little miso broth over the top.
