FIRST FOR FRIDAY Pt.2

Our first Stuff Stitch Village took place this Friday in Coventry . And what a great first Village it was! 🤩

The WASTE BUTT GREAT challenge!🤩
The teams had to design and build a structurally sound chair within a time limit, then checked by Robster. The results were astounding.🤩 Judge for yourself…

FIRST FOR FRIDAY Pt.1

Our first Stuff Stitch Village took place this Friday in Coventry . And what a great first Village it was! 🤩

We were honoured to have been joined by , and from across the pond, for their outlook on waste, sustainability and general advice for the re-use of materials.

A rather brilliant insight into other business’s ways of reducing waste.

A couple of members were also presented with ‘Top Villager’ certificates in recognition of their unwavering support to us 😉

Are we all set for the change in existing legal requirements for waste containing Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) from 1st January 2023?

Most of you have by now likely received this letter. But just a quick reminder that if you have not yet spoken to your waste management company, it’s probably best to do it before we get to Christmas.

We are super excited to announce that we are going to be hosting the first ‘Stuff Stitch Village’ meetings from February 2023 onwards.

These are events that will see up to 50 people attend an Upholstery & Soft-furnishings interactive workshop.

A great opportunity for us to come together, take part in a live ‘Coffee with Robbie’ vodcast, listen to keynote speakers and discuss topical subjects that we can all relate to – and of course a Q&A session.

Places are limited to 50 for each event, with the first taking place 17th February 2023 at the Village Hotel Coventry.
