Feeling nostalgic of my old home, the craziest part of it all is if I were to walk into that house today it would still look the same. When my husband and I sold our home last year we sold it with every piece of decor intact, our home buyers wanted it all! As amazing as that was I still couldn’t believe it myself, I had never heard of that happening. We sold our home well over asking price and we are so blessed for that but I still find myself missing it and all the memories we made in that home ❤️ today, I’m hopeful for our future and what lies ahead.

Really missing this kitchen 😭
Feeling super nostalgic right now, but I’m definitely excited about our new journey. I know I haven’t gotten on here and let y’all know where we’re at, what we’re doing etc but I truly believe that there is a time for sharing our goals and right now we’re just going to keep them to ourselves 🤍

And just like that, we said our final goodbyes to our very first home. 7 years came and went, and in those 7 years we made some pretty amazing memories. When we first moved in we were so happy and just ready to start our life in our new home. We were over the moon! Now 7 yrs later we’re still over the moon and just so eager to start our new chapter to our journey as well as being so happy for the beautiful family who will call this their home. Special thanks to our amazing realtor who we also have the privilege to call our friend, he’s like family! He did an amazing job getting our house sold within the first day of listing! If you are in the dfw area I highly recommend him!

It’s Friday!!!! Yay! Currently my kitchen looks nothing like this 😂 it’s a mega disaster with trying to get everything in boxes and figuring out what’s staying, what’s trash, and what we’re keeping 🙄 ughhhh Im exhausted! But we’re making progress so yay to that! How is y’all’s Friday going??

This was one of my first big projects I did, I remember dreaming of giving my kitchen table a makeover and how long it actually took me to finally get started, I watched countless YouTube videos while I anticipated the day I would finally do it. I was terrified of the task at hand because I didn’t want to ruin my kitchen table. I finally mustered up the courage to do it and it took me a while to actually finish it because, well...KIDS 😂 once I finished my kitchen table makeover I sighed with relief because it turned out amazing! And I surprised myself! Even if your dream projects seem scary because you’ve never done them before this is your reminder that you can do amazing things!! So paint that table! your house! Do all the things! And know you got this, girl!

I have a question for anyone who’s sold their home,
What would you say is the hardest part of this whole process? If you asked me it’s definitely having random people in and out of my home 😰 but I’m handling it in the best way I know possible and that’s sanitizing in between showings 😂 another way to deal with it is knowing this will be one of those families future home! And that really makes my heart so happy. Even though this has been a crazy process I am so glad my husband and I have a great realtor to help us along this journey!
If you’re in the dfw area I would highly recommend .perez for your home selling/buying needs!

We’ve been working so hard getting things ready for today so we are beyond exhausted but pretty darn excited to get the ball rolling! This is also the second time the whole house has been clean at ONCE so that’s also something to be super happy about! 😻🤍
Now to get the kids to behave and stay out of the photographers way! 😂
