New Kou Yoshinari just dropped 👀
Always a treat to see such wonderful art styles in our favourite anime.

Yoshinari's detailing is crazy good. Nothing lingers for too long, every new drawing has purpose and flow.

The readability of this scene is superb. I can't even imagine the level of skill and precision required to animate like this.

Little late to the party on this, but, I wanna say some thing about this particular character animation.
I've seen most, if not all of, BAHI JD's animation uploads on sakugabooru. I want this said firstly because I believe this is one of his strongest animations yet, and its fascinating seeing his talent and skill evolve over time.
Every shot and movement here is full of emotion. So much so that even out of context for me (Haven't seen One Piece), I still feel it strongly. In particular, the moment she tries smashing her shackles, I REALLY like the mid shot at 26 seconds. I love the strong positioning on her striking arm, the trembling, and the long spacing between each hit.
The shot after as well, excellently positioned showing just her mouth and throat, hammers home her being choked on her words in emotion.
Fantastic stuff

Have one of my old favourites.
There's definitely something special about seeing this kind of animation in flip-book form.
Even though the timing may not be what the animator intended the animation to be viewed in, I like having the slower pace to view the drawings more carefully.

Just a great showcase of how individual animators can add life to such a simple scene.

Love the black and white water colour section of this. Also those energy beams converging at 13 seconds are pure eye candy.

Brilliant choreography, posing and dynamic camera control featured in the Hyper Light Breaker: Early Access Trailer.
Freaking love that pistol shooting pose at 17 seconds in. The camera movement from 23 onwards is so incredibly fused with the animation I can only be in awe.

No Attack on Titan this week, so we may as well continue enjoying last weeks brilliant episode.
This moment seems to me as inspired, at least partially, from Arifumi Imai's works. I REALLY love the excessive foreshortening and smearing. I also think Hange's movement to attack looks very clean to me, the secondary action in her limbs seems very purposeful and carefully drawn.

I went through some of Ousama Ranking's clips on Sakugabooru, and decided to share this particular one for its interesting sword melding effects and brilliant character expressions.

Joyful character acting. I really like the girl's seamless transitions in her actions, specifically how her hair and outfit follow through.
