I hate to say this as someone who lost their mother but guys, you need to be a little more savvy. When you see an account that you've never seen before post in a group "I lost my mother today" with cry emojis... they usually didn't. It's a bot.

For starters most people don't put emojis with a real death notice.

Okay, before I get another "Umm actually my second cousin twice removed uses the cry emoji when someone dies." (Or similar) I am literally talking about a copy and paste message from an obvious bot account. (If you don't know how to spot a bot, you don't belong on Facebook.) An obvious bot = Not your second cousin twice removed.

Sometimes they even are accompanied by p**n links. I'm not removing everyone who mentions a death so knock it off with the hyperbolic reactions. I am literally talking about bots. There were TEN this week, all with the same exact "My Mom just died 😭😭" message. And one that I missed but was reported where the same message included p**n.

Stop assuming you know better and that I'm somehow an internet newbie. It's really insulting.
