WEDNESDAY JAN. 22ND 2025
TOPIC: TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
TEXT: ISAIAH 61:3

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified”

Jesus is made unto us by God righteousness, and He said that we are His branches.
1 Corinthians 1:30; John 15:5.

Jesus said that every tree is known by its fruits.
Matthew 7:19-20.

So, we as the branches of the tree of righteousness, should produce fruits of righteousness as the branch of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, in John 15:16, that He has chosen us, and ordained us that we should bear fruits, that God might be glorified.

The fruit of righteousness expected that we should bear that God will be glorified, are

(1) Fruit of love:
We are admonished to love one another, as the children of God: 1 John 3:10.

(2) Fruit of soul winning:
Daniel 12:3.

(3) Fruit of generosity:
Matthew 5:16.

Love is the fulfillment of the law, and whosoever, that loves is righteous even as Jesus Christ is our righteousness.
John 15:13; 1 John 3:7.

So, continue living for the glory of God, as the light that shines in darkness.

PRAYER: Dear father, I thank you for my cleansing through your word, to live the life of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name Amen.

TEXT: ISAIAH 8:18

“Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion”

Jesus Christ is a sign and a wonder in Israel, that when He was brought into the temple to be dedicated, Simeon told His mother that Jesus Christ, is a sign which shall be spoken off, and He is for the raising and falling of many in Israel, and that He is a light that will lighten the Gentiles.
Luke 2:32-34.

The brethren of Jesus Christ are wonders of light, that enlightens men out of the bo***ge of darkness of this world. Matthew 5:14.

Jesus was not ashamed to call those who believed in Him His brethren. Hebrews 2:11.

Because of this, God brought us unto Himself in Christ, for our conformity into the image of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:29.

As Christ brethren the works that Jesus Christ did, you shall do also. John 14:12.

Jesus Christ while on earth did the work of the salvation of man, and gave His life as a ransom for it.

Now as His brethren, He has commissioned us to be witnesses of man’s salvation through Him in all the nations of the world. Luke 24:46-48.

Don’t be ashamed of Jesus Christ, and tell the world about His sacrifice for their salvation.

PRAYER: Dear father, I thank you for saving me in Christ, and making me His brethren and joint heir with Him, in Jesus’ Name Amen.

TOPIC: DON’T BE SURPRISED
TEXT: 1 PETER 4:4

“They marvel that you no longer rush to join them in the excesses of their corrupt lifestyle, and so they vilify you”(TPT).

New creation in Christ Jesus is not a confession, nor is it a slogan, it is a life.

It is one turning his back to the ways and systems of the world, what this means is that devil has lost you.

What?

Do you expect him to keep quiet, no devil must fight back to win you over to himself again.

All the defamatory things your friends, and even your family members says against you, because of your new found life in Christ, is devil’s reaction to persuade your returning back to him.

Don’t be disturbed by what they’re saying against you, or their treatment towards you.

Blindness is working against them, which you were before when you take delight in those things they do now, and wonder that you left them.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4;
Ephesians 4:17-18.

Don’t hate them or answer back to them, because that is what the devil will want you to do.

Rather, pray unto God for their salvation, and use every opportunity you have with them to witness Jesus unto them.

Rejoice for suffering reproach because of Jesus Christ, which bring God’s glory upon you.

PRAYER: Dear father, I thank you for the life of glory you give to me in Christ, in Jesus’ Name Amen.

TOPIC: TILLING THE GROUND FOR HARVEST
TEXT: EXODUS 34:26

“The first of the first fruit of thy land thou salt bring unto the house of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not see the a kid in His mother’s milk”.

Harvest is processed by work.

A farmer who wants harvest, works diligently with the principles of farming.

As a Christian, God has given to us the principle that guarantees a blessful harvest for the year for us; The principle of first fruit.

First fruit is God’s principle for a life of blessing for His children.

First fruit is older than the law. Genesis 4:4.

To secure God’s respect for a year of blessing begins with you offering God your first fruit.

It is those who serve God in obedience to His commandments that spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure. Job 36:11.

So prepare your years for a blissful harvest.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the grace of life of prosperity and pleasures which you give to me through first fruit offering, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

TOPIC: TRUST GOD
TEXT: ISAIAH 26:3

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusted in thee”.

God is faithful and worthy to be trusted.

God keeps to His promises, there has never been anything God said which He has not performed. Numbers 23:19.

To have peace in times of trouble and challenges of life is by trusting God.

God’s heart and thoughts towards us all the time are thoughts of peace, and to give us the desired future He planned for us. Jeremiah 29:11.

God gives us perfect peace when our mind is stayed on Him by trusting in Him.

When your mind is not stayed on God in trusting Him, your chances of receiving from Him is blocked. James 1:6-7.

When Walking with God, at times you may feel empty as though God is not with you.

But when you cannot feel the hand of God, you can trust His heart.

So, trust in God for He will perform all His promises to you.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for your faithfulness, for when I feel that you are not there that is when you are closer to me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

TOPIC: CHALLENGES OF FAITH
TEXT: JAMES 1:3

“Knowing that the trying of your faith worketh patience”.

Challenges of faith are also called trying of faith.

Many Christians wonder why they go through some difficulties after they got born again.

Being a Christian does not mean that you will not face challenges in life.

The scripture said that anyone who want to live godly in Christ must suffer persecution. 2 Timothy 3:122.

The time of persecution is the time of challenges to try your faith.

Some people give up their faith during persecution, but as a child of God, you should stand tall.

Understand that nobody gets promoted without a test.

No matter what you are facing, stand tall because you are more than a conqueror.

Look at the devil in his face and tell him that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4.

During the challenges, you are developed and God will decorate you as you win.

No matter what condition you see yourself or what life throws on you, always remember that you are more than conquerors and the greater one lives in you.

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me victory over life situations and circumstances through the cross of Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
