People have different levels of sensitivity. What might be funny to you, can be offending to others. Regardless if you didn't mean it, doesn't make it okay. Just because you're close friends doesn't give you the right to poke fun at her insecurities, her failures, her heartbreaks, or her problems. She trusted you with these. Don't let a friend down by turning her issues into a joke.

Call it what you want. People are sensitive. People have feelings.

Feelings are valid. It's okay to be upset over a joke regardless who it came from even if it's from a friend or relative.

Before you label others as sensitive, make sure you aren't being insensitive.
