Can a man ever be angry at God?

I was angry, mad, so vexed to my spirit with him but what did it yield?

I lost my mum on the 5th of January 2018 while I was in my final year. This woman was my world; I was so determined back then to make her happy. She went through hell from my childhood days....oh the stories tears my heart. I remember we hawking different items after school. This woman despite the hardship endeavored to put us in private school. It got to a point back then I did site work as a child (I and my sister would go to the site where they break chippings to join them. Both of us will join hands to fill and carry a pan after breaking the stones) We will receive payment after getting the number of pans we were able to fill for the day. We did this aside from the banana she would give us to go sell on the site without her knowledge. Father Lord!!!

She was so mad the day she found out. But what could she have done? We move!!!

All my childhood struggles and stories with mum made me angry at God for a whole year.

I lamented on how I have remained faithful to serve him yet he didn't keep her to enjoy my money at least. Surviving school during my undergraduate days was by part-time and working during holidays. That year, I left school to work full time and only go for exams. God bless my wonderful friends who were there for me. Always updated me on assignments and tests.

I was in church, yet my heart wasn't there.

I was going to church so that it wouldn't be said I didn't come.

Some noticed my lack of commitment and communication and thought it was because of the recent incident but dears I was angry at God.
I gave my pastor a headache. Said I wasn't gonna do again. Partly coming from what I was facing.

I will lead prayers and still take sermons but no be from my heart. Like I was damn mad. How could you let this happen? Where's the love you promised me?

A day came where I sat down and God said to me, "Is that the only thing you are angry about?" I have kept you all this while even in your struggles.

🔺"The job you got to support yourself and family, who gave it to you?"
The truth is that I got that job without any interview. I didn't even have a degree yet but submitted an application and gbam I resumed work the next week.

🔺"You think it's easy to leave school and still have the wisdom and knowledge to understand all that was taught? You aced all your exams. Emerged one of the top students in the level." My highest GPA back then was attained in my final year. I was speechless.

🔺The favor I gave you with men you don't appreciate that? Some lecturers or supervisors wouldn't let you do your project knowing you aren't present. Who touched their hearts in your favor? My final year fees were paid by someone I never knew.

After all these, I repented and started counting my blessings. Ever since I have made consistent progress.
He blessed me with men, women, mentors, and fathers in these trying times. These people I met are a part of my success to date.

Someone is trying to give up on God. You're trying to make a decision which will cost you. Some can recognize and come back to God but you may not be able to.
Are you thinking that God has left you? It doesn't matter what you're going through right now. You may have lost someone so dear to you and you are asking God why? Challenges are enormous that you can barely take a break without crying.

Check very well there are some things God has been doing that you are taking for granted or haven't been able to recognize. Your mind is only fixated on that one thing he hasn't done.

So many people are in the body of Christ and yet don't remember to count the blessings God has given them but decide to dwell on the challenges they're facing.

Whatever it may be, never get angry at God. He rewards your faithfulness in service. He knows what you're going through. He sees it all and will surely come through for you. God never fails even when we go through challenges. He will never suffer you to be tempted above that you are able -1 Cor 10:13

🎯Your present situation might just be to strengthen you.

🎯It might be to connect you to those who would bless you

🎯It might be to connect you to those in your future.

🎯It's to make you discover what you can do in him.

🎯Don't give up! God uses men to bless you don't forget that. Don't shut your helpers out with nasty behavior of your present situation.

🎯It only takes a moment for him to do it. Nothing is impossible

🎯Stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief.

🎯Be strong in faith

🎯Give Glory to God

I'm a living testimony that God is good and he loves you. Shout for joy for his mercies are new and he never ceases to fulfill his promises.

He will make all things work for you.

I now live happy, and joyful, knowing that I am loved by God. Evidence of his goodness is all over me.

If you don't use your tongue positively, it will only but ruin you.

The story of Abraham and his son Isaac being used as a sacrifice teaches us a lot that we should take cognizance of. He followed the instructions from the Lord to offer Isaac as a burnt offering in the mountains.

As naive as Isaac was, he asked where the lamb to be used for sacrifice was. The response from Abraham was that "My God will provide himself a lamb for the burnt offering".

Abraham's words;

🔷Gave hope to the son that it's God's job to do so. Imagine if he said you're the sacrifice. What could Isaac have done or how would he have felt? Your tongue is responsible for building others up or tearing them down.

🔷Caused the provision for the sacrifice. His words brought forth life (lamb) in the mountain. Your words can either speak life or you speak death.

Imagine if he didn't say those words. In every situation or point in life, your words produce the evidence you wish to see. Heb 11:3 says that the world was framed by the words of God. Let there be and there was!

What are you doing with the words in your mouth? Your words and thoughts are great indicators of your hearts before God.

Speak the right words wherever you are. Let your tongue be known to bring forth greatness. It doesn't matter your situation, keep proclaiming the right words and your victory.

Furthermore,

🎯Grow more consistently in positive declarations and speeches

🎯Mature in your speech concerning every situation.

🎯You can remove what you don't want to see in your life through words

🎯You have the power to bring positive changes in your life.

🎯Words produce results! Your tongue must be watered daily with positive confessions to bear fruit.

While you take that step in God's direction and lead, call forth the things you want to see. They emerge and are evident by your spoken words.

PS: If you are not born again, knowing Jesus is the best thing that can happen to you. He has changed me and I believe he will do the same for you too. God loves sinners but he hates sin. He loves you and is calling you to come and dine with him.

Say this prayer of salvation: "Oh Lord God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God. I believe that he died and was raised from the dead. I confess that he is the Lord of my life today and I receive by faith the remission of sins for my soul. I am born again, I have received eternal life into my spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.!"

I have been contemplating whether to make this post or not. Yeah, we're here eventually.

Yes, you have made plans and set goals

Yes you have started or not yet started
..and you frequent online and read posts that will contribute to making you mediocre.

Those plans and goals of yours, are you sure you want them achieved? Abi you wrote them because others are writing and posted they've made plans. Have you gotten guidance on how to get them rolling?

Prov 24:6 "For by wise guidance you will wage war,
And in abundance of counselors there is victory."

You will launch out greatly if you obtain wise guidance and can never go wrong when there are mentors to follow and listen to. Who are you following? What comes up on your timeline? Those who motivate you and show you the way or those who just live by posting their lifestyles...shouting up and down.

Be careful what you see on the media. If monkey wear suit today, people go think say he don make am. Maybe na borrow he borrow am oo 🤣🤣🤣 then come online drop quote for you.

Do not be sluggish but follow those who are on the same path as you see yourself. The set of people who have gained the promises through faith, patience and work.
Heb 6:12

There's no success without history. Know how they started and rose to the position they are in. Don't follow who emerged from nowhere(E get why and as e be)

The greatest wisdom on how to carry out your plans comes from the Lord and that's why he said in James 1:5"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

Ask of the Lord today and receive wisdom to flourish this year.

Finally,"commit your works unto the Lord and thy thoughts shall be established." Prov 16:3

It's a great privilege that God has given us to be alive in this new year.

As a believer, you have to take responsibility for your next level. Don't just claim wishes or prophetic words without action. The fulfillment of the word over your life this year is all dependent on you.

God has given you a word from your commission, be humble and go into prayers to ask him how that word will come to pass.

Isaiah 60:1 "ARISE, shine; for the light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee."

The Bible scripture says, "Arise". To take up your possessions, you must arise and take steps for you to shine. As you take steps, stay strong in faith and always maintain joy in your heart.

Listen to the leading of the Lord and follow. Above all, don't be a part-time Christian. Study the word to show thyself approved unto God.

In this year, you shall experience breakthroughs all around and it will be evident in your life. Kings shall come to your rising, in Jesus' name, Amen!

𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝘆: 𝗔𝗻 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲

Many Christians are not successful in life because they failed to seek God first. Some people fail by not committing their works in the hands of God.

Whom you believe in, makes way for you. As a believer that is interested in starting a business, a new job, getting married, etc, what is your attitude? Have you gone to God in prayer to seek directions? Do you start without committing it to his trust or you intend to call on him when it fails or starts failing?
He answers whenever you call on him but do you have to wait till things get soar? God guards whatever is committed to his hands.

Do not form the habit of only seeking God when you are faced with diverse challenges.

𝑰𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒂𝒉 55:6 "𝑺𝒆𝒆𝒌 𝒚𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅, 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒆 𝒖𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒂𝒓".

If you seek God at the right time, and not at the wrong timing, he will answer. There are times when we receive instant responses from God and times there may seem to be a delay.

𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒔 18:17 ".... 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒌 𝒎𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆."

It is God alone that you pray to when faced with obstacles. Why not seek him early? Some people seek God when it's already late.

Learn to seek God before going to work, before starting the business, before taking that job, before that nuptial knot is tied, etc. Don't procrastinate in seeking God. Don't have the attitude of when it works, I will give thanks and if it doesn't, I will pray to him to make it work.

They that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. All things are yours when you seek him early continually.

𝑯𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒔 11: 6 "....𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒌 𝒉𝒊𝒎."

Seek God first and early today. The time you seek him can affect the speed of his response to you.

There's no love greater than that of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The enemy doesn't love you, rather is out for your soul. Don't give in. Don't let him get hold of your soul.
Those riches you think you enjoy from him will fade away. He never guarantees you eternal life.

In Christ Jesus, we have eternal life(Zoe), which is the very life of God.

John 3:16. ......"whosoever believes in him, have eternal life."

All you need to have this life in you is to say this:

In the world we live in, we cannot avoid affliction and trials but your character in times of turmoil defines your faith in Christ.

Be strong, have good courage, and don't give in to fear.

Amid trials and challenges, dear believer, you need to know what God says about you; who you are in Christ, and that He is with you always.

For God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power (boldness) 2 Tim 1:7

Your greatest strength in times of tension is drawn from knowing who you are in Christ. Let nothing deter you from moving forward!

Dear Believer,

You can't work or walk with God if you are not patient. The Bible said "𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥:𝘣𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵:𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵, 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺, 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥."

It's not just about waiting or being patient;your attitude while you wait is of importance too. You have to demonstrate faith and bravery while you wait.

Even in all aspects of your life, when you ask anything from someone, you wait to receive it. When you are disturbed, the favor of God may elude you. He said while you wait, having good courage, he will strengthen your heart.

No matter what you have been asking God for, Wait! I say Wait upon him.

It may seem as though it is taking ages for your request to be answered. Gods is not asleep, he has a perfect timing and all you need is to wait patiently. It will not be long and you will receive your answers.

Don't look at people who use dubious means to achieve what they want. As a believer, your hope is in Christ.

Don't be anxious for anything, go to God constantly in prayer while you wait.

𝐇𝐞𝐳𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐚𝐡 - 𝟐𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝟏𝟖-𝟐𝟎

In our Bible reading today, Hezekiah, the king of Judah amongst other kings trusted in the Lord, did what was right in His sight, and was a king with a difference.

Hezekiah's life teaches that we should trust in God and walk in ways that please Him. A time came when he was sick unto death, he prayed to God and reminded him of his steadfastness and how he has followed him in truth and with a perfect heart. God heard him and added unto him 15years more to his age. God fought battles for him because of his faith in him.

God doesn't forsake those who worship him in spirit and a perfect heart. He rewards us here on earth with good tidings.

As a believer walking right with God, is there any challenge you are facing? Talk to God about it and remind him of how faithful you are and he will never leave you.

God can turn that reproach, that sickness, and those challenges you face into a thing of laughter.

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 is something that everyone should value. Once a minute is gone without making use of it, it’s gone and can never be gotten back. Everyone has the same number of hours of the day but only a few people see their progress or success of outlined and targeted goals for the week. We most times wonder if people who work longer to attain success in their different careers tend to get additional time. The answer is No! We all have the same 24hours a day. There is no refill in time rather any hour wasted is gone, the next hour begins till it eventually dies out and the next begins its count. People achieve great results because they are major shareowners of their time. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬. It is expedient to understand where and how you mostly spend your time, draw your attention to what contributes to your journey to guide you into a successful pathway. I am aware that not all time management procedure suits everyone; nevertheless, these tips have helped me to make the most use of my time and day.

So, what do you need to do to increase your time management skills and productivity? The first step is to

𝟏. 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬:
We unintentionally devote a major share of our time to things that add little to no value to our growth. There is a need to have an eye on what takes most of your time and take cognizance of the tasks that consume the highest number of hours than others in a day. Your time consumers may not be the tasks or activities you have laid out for yourself. Let's say, for instance, you have structured out your to-do-list for the day. You are working on a project and suddenly your phone beeps, and it’s a notification from either Facebook, WhatsApp, or other social media handles. Funny enough you can be captured and intrigued by the title and want to take a glance at it. And that is it, you’ve abandoned your task, and then after checking that one video or comment, you find yourself scrolling to the next and the next. Do you ever wonder why we spend so much time on social media? The truth remains that there are interesting or humorous posts you will see on the internet that will make you stay glued. Taking that action alone may take hours out of your time, facilitating laziness and creating a diminishing return in your mind to continue your task. There are educative posts, don’t get me wrong but know your time limits. Sometimes, it feels good to continuously do some stuff that does not make us arrive where we need to be. Do these tasks contribute to your success? Inefficiency and wasted time lead to problems in achieving your goals. Work on less important tasks and never spend too much time on them. Some individuals can be busy all day, the evidence is seen but they seem to turn out unproductive at the end of the day. Time-consuming tasks can and mostly take away your attention on important work that will lead to your growth. Identify things that keep you busy all day and the ones that truly make you productive.

𝟐. 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞:
After you have identified your tasks and time consumers, invest your time on the things that make you successful by removing the activities that are less valuable to accomplish goals and draw attention to activities that contribute to your success. To do this, carefully enlist the activities that add value to your goals that you need to invest time on likewise those that you do not in a table format. This will enable you to have a second viewpoint of the listed activities before discarding them. Discard those activities that are of less value and unproductive to you and include the productive and high-value-added activities in your to-do list for the day. Eliminate the channels your distractions and time-consuming activities come from and focus on your daily productive moments.

𝟑. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞:
Making relative prioritization to the most important tasks is another technique for time management. An energetic and vibrant attitude is mostly attained in the morning and it is one of the best times to note your activities for the day and schedule time for each. I use my mornings for creative output and finish two times more than I would later in the day however choose the time you can fully control your attention. Pen down the things you mostly do in a day and prioritize them. Choosing to multitask can only take your time and make you lose focus so it’s best to single task. Focus on a single thing quickly before moving to the next. To achieve this;

𝑎)𝐶𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑎 𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑜𝑛𝑒
𝑏)𝐺𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑝 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑟 𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟
𝑐)𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑘 𝑤ℎ𝑖𝑐ℎ 𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑏𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑘.

You can set at least 40-60mins for each task outlined and watch the level of accomplishment after the minutes. Just know that not all your assigned tasks may be achievable in a day due to the time allotted to it. You can choose to add extra time or move to the next tasks. Go back to the unfinished task when you have rounded up others.

Remember, don’t sell your time for money because you can get more money, but not time. Rich people buy time for themselves because they are driven by it. Probably, those you admire are not that smarter or more equipped than you are; they just use their time better and wisely. Build these simple small habits that can lead to great success over time. Be consistent and focus. Little efforts compound over time and generate prominent results. Time mastery is the key to an accomplished life.

Dear Woman,

It is a thing of joy to be born as a woman. You are like a salt that adds flavour to the earth. You have superpower within you.

Today, we celebrate women's achievements all over the world. As a woman, you have the right to participation in public and political life; the right to education, right to be free from torture and cruel or degrading treatment; the right to equality, you have a right to be heard. Don't let anyone shove you under their feet because of your gender.

You are not frail. These are no longer the days where a woman is meant to speak softly and be hidden. Be bold to speak against any form of violence. You have the right to speak out against injustice. Speak for women wherever you are.

Do not choose to be like anyone anyway. If you choose to follow the crowd, you won't go far.
Many challenges and distractions will come to change you from who you are, don't succumb to negativities. God clothed you with strength and dignity. Be that woman who knows her right and stands on her principles.

A virtuous woman is :
1. A vessel of love
2.Valued and knows her worth
3.A wife to a man of value
4.Commands high respect and favour
5.Diligentand productive

Choose to challenge yourself because you can do it. Your abilities are discovered when you make a bold step and take action. Nothing can limit you.

It's not a time waste money on frivolities. Invest in yourself and the future. The world needs women who are strong and can take up responsibilities and challenges.

Above all, as you challenge to be a woman of change, let humility, love and honesty rule in your heart.

Learn to separate work life, leadership position, and friendship.

Being friends with your work partner or leader shouldn't make you lose respect for him/her in that position. The truth remains that in that area, he/she is above you and deserves respect.

No matter how close you are to your leader in any sphere of life or boss, do not submit work-related documents to him/her through social media(eg Whatsapp) except he/she demanded it to be so.

It shows respect and a high level of competence and regard when you deliver documents through mail. Treat official matters as they should be.

I see many people who take advantage of friendship to do this. It's not supposed to be so. You may call it a mere thing, but no, it's not. Some keep quiet and observe till they get to speak about it to you.

Increase your level of being recommended to other key personalities by your actions at work or in that leadership position.
