And it’s a fair question because there’s a lot of confusing information on whether you should use them or shouldn’t use them now nowadays.
As someone who has been working in social media for the last seven years, I think hashtags are still worth your time! 😊

If you want to go viral, the algorithm needs to know what your post is about!
And while you can utilize keywords, adding in some specific hashtags about what your post is about is only going to give the algorithm even more information so it can precisely put your content in front of your ideal follower!!
Here on Instagram I highly recommend hashtags for small accounts that are trying to get traction and grow‼️
Once you are consistently going viral the use of hashtags is less important because you have trained the algorithm to know exactly what your content is about and it should be pushed out to.
